About us

American Sun Control specializes in custom window treatment solutions for residential and commercial clients for both interior and exterior applications. We work closely with home and business owners, designers, architects and general contractors to furnish and install both manually operated and motorized window furnishings. Our goal is to create long term customer loyalty by consistently providing the quality of product and level of customer service that allows our customers to know they have received much more than their money's worth. We have been in business since 1969 serving the Atlanta and Cashiers/North Carolina area.

When we purchased our home, we discovered the vast array of windows heated up the interior to the point the AC ran almost constantly during the day.  We called Lisa at American Sun Control to help us reduce the heat load and make the rooms more comfortable, as well as, reducing our electric bill.  She was an excellent source of ideas with each product purchased doing exactly what we needed.  We saved about one-third of the previous electric bill after the projects were completed.

She is very punctual. She has very good opinions and will listen to you. She has a contractor that loves working with her and that says something. She knows what she is doing and will send a personal note thanking you for the business. She listen to our ideas and then she would mention her ideas and will let you think about it and come to a conclusion.
