On very short notice, he performed a whole-house inspection.  He came well-recommended.  He was extremely professional, courteous and thorough.  He explained things in laymen's terms and gave us information on how to correct the items he found.  Very glad I used him.  He also was very responsive answering some follow-up questions my wife and I had. I just wish I would have joined Angie's List before we had our inspection! ;-)

We were trying to sell and had a mandatory radon test. It failed much to our shock. They came out and bid. They were licensed, insured and local. That was worth the extra $400 they charged from a New York City company.

Scott met with me and was patient enough to allow me to follow him during the entire inspection. He was incredibly thorough and willing to further investigate anything that I had questions on. Not only was he very thorough, but he was also prompt in every response. We receive the inspection report the evening of the 13th. He also did radon testing for us and we receive the results with a detailed explanation of what everything meant and recommendations on how to proceed. In our case, our results came back very close to action level. I would definitely use Scott again and would recommend him to anyone looking for a independent home inspector or looking for radon testing.

My husband and I were purchasing from out of state. Our daughter worked with the realator and handled the inspection. We got email communication and the inspection report along with pictures emailed. Our daughter and the realator were impressed with the inspection and we felt the report gave us a vvery good picture of the homes condition, it was very thorough. I was very pleased with the service.

Scott did an amazing job. At first I was a little concerned about the price for the entire inspection, but as soon as Scott arrived he quickly showed me that the service was well worth the cost and more. First of all, Scott was very insistent upon me being onsite while he conducted the inspection. He took care of all the details regarding getting into the locked box and ensuring the home had a certificate of occupancy (something many inspectors never check). Additionally, Scott provided me with a pen and pad of paper that allowed me to take notes to ensure we had everything covered by the end of the inspection. Scott walked me from room to room, making notes, checking each toilet, shower head, and faucet. The level of detail went all the way to whether grout in the bathrooms was sealed or not. He showed me where all service points were on appliances and major systems. Additionally, he gave me feedback on the furnaces and heat pump quality and also check everything outside... right down to the placements of downspouts and grade of the yard for water runoff. I WAS EXTREMELY IMPRESSED!!!!
