I personally provide loving care in the comfort of your home for all family pets. I offer 20 to 30 minute visits. I also provide overnight and extended stays for existing clients whose pets I have already formed a relationship with.

Services we offer
I provide complete care for dogs, cats, reptiles and birds. I give meds and subcutaneous fluids. I get your mail, change lighting, set out garbage for pick up (and bring container back in) and water a few flowers. I will always keep yard litter such as advertising flyers and newspapers picked up and keep a watchful eye in and around your home while you are away.

Large farm animals I no longer do dog walks but I will take care of them in every other way!

When you move to a new state, it's always difficult to find people to work with, without a network of people you know. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes not. With Barbara, I got lucky.
Just about the time I moved 1000 miles to my new home, my job got complicated and my occasional travel became almost a way of life. My two cats were freaked about the move as it was,
Enter Barbara Shock, who I found here on Angie's List. Barbara takes good care of my two "mature" cats. More than simply feeding them, she spends time with them. When one of my cats got sick and wouldn't come out from under the bed, she made sure he had food and water close by, as I would. When I worred that he might be really sick, she took him to the vet (he was fine). They greet her at the door when she arrives, and when I come home, they are happy to see me, but clearly relaxed. When she was going to be unavailable, she let me know ahead of time and even though I had not already booked a trip, she let me know that she had arranged for a backup in case I had to leave. Now THAT's something!
Barbara is professional and kind, and having her around is a huge load off my mind!!

Barbara is dependable and thorough in her notes recapping the visit(s). She follows instructions to the letter, and actually gives helpful hints that we've used to make things easier. She is very responsive to emails which we appreciate. We recommend her!

She is the best, wouldn't have anyone else. She is professional yet personable and a pleasure to do business with. She would send us text about visitations with our pups, answer back any concerns we may have had. During her last visits over Christmas Holidays, she not only took care of our 3 mature pups, she also took care of our daughter's new 11 week old pup staying at our home too. Making sure he was played with, socialized with our pups, over all fabulous. Thanks Barbara, we appreciate you. I would be honored to give you a referral anytime.:)

I have used Barbara two or three times in the past couple of years and recommended her to my brother-in-law, who has also used her services. I have three dogs and four cats (one of whom needs medication twice daily). The last time I called her was on very short notice, on a Friday for a two-day trip starting on Monday. Luckily she was available, and came over three times a day to care for my menagerie. I first used her services about a year ago when we were gone for a week, and she not only stayed in my home as I requested, and fed and cared for my pets, but she also watered my outdoor plants daily (in was in July), and dusted and vacuumed the house before we got home. She is extremely professional, caring and responsive, and I heartily recommend her. I will definitely make use of her excellent services in the future.
