They removed and disposed of the old carpeting and the backing; scraped the old glue off the concrete; swept the debris and disposed of it; ripped off the old baseboards and installed the flooring. They made the necessary cuts to the planks outside so the dust did not permeate our house; they carefully measured each plank and made certain it fit properly; they laid the planks on the floor in the manner we had requested. When finished with the installation, they swept up every piece of dirt and dust. They explained the length of time we needed to leave the heavy weight on the threshold that had been glued. The men who installed the floor were friendly and professional, they worked well as a team, and worked quickly, but thoroughly. The floor is absolutely beautiful, everyone who visits our house comments on how lovely it looks and feels.
