The service was fantastic. I have used these guys more then 20 times. I be using them again. I will recommend them to everyone.

This was the first time I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal, so I didn't know what to expect.  SOS Electric was courteous and contacted me promptly, and they were super-accommodating when I had to make a shift in appointment times.  The technicians were nice, professional young electricians with a can-do attitude.  I will definitely use SOS Electric again if I am ever in need of an electrician.

4pm on a Friday and I smell burning electric wires. Could not touch door on electric panel as it was red hot. Finally opened the door and could see wires glowing.
Did a local search for emergency electrician and found one close by however they turned out to be worthless. After calling several times and hearing service tech would call me, well, after 2 hrs of this I gave up and searched again and found SOS Electric. Called them and spoke to Scott. Explained the situation and he assured me his tech would be out within the hour. Sure enough his guy shows up about 50 minutes later. We review the problem which requires a replacement of the electrical panel due to what the tech sees as apparent lightening strike that fried the panel. He turned off all the breakers so I could get thru the night without a fire hazard problem.
He returns the next morning to do the work and all goes well. Nice to find a service company that does what they say they will do and within the timeframe and cost they estimate.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and I would rate it as medium. This was the first time that I used them. There was nothing exceptional. They could not install the fan that they were supposed to, so they installed a cheaper version. I had purchased a big deal for the premium extractor fan, an they said that they could not fit that fan, so they installed a cheaper version, which included several trips to the hardware store. I asked them to give me a quote to replace the smoke alarms, but they didn't get back to me.

The only issue I have is that the unit they installed was smaller than the old fan and now I have a hole in the ceiling. They also left fingerprints on the ceiling. It is much quieter then our last fan. Not sure it does a better job.

It was all perfect. The work was done neatly and looked wonderful when finished. You can barely tell the fan is on it's so quiet.

We had a little trouble getting an initial response. Right after I purchased the service I contacted them. I later contacted Angie's List to help schedule the appointment. A few hours later they called me back. We did have to reschedule because they had car problems. They did a pretty good job. I thought I was getting a Nucor fan installed but they installed a cheaper one instead. They advertised an ultra quite fan and it is the quietest fan I have owned. It works fine. However, I think I could have had the work done better for cheaper. I would not use them again.

I purchased a deal from this company through Angie's list for a replacement bathroom exhaust fan and the labor to install it.  The deal was for $249.  The installation people arrived within the three hour window scheduled, and called in advance to let me know they were on their way.  They arrived, assessed the fan and then left to get the proper fan.  Installation was fairly quick upon their return and they cleaned up after their work.  In addition, the electrician offered to look at any other issues, and addressed a few easy questions.  All in all, a good value for the service with a positive customer service experience.

This was part of an Angie's List special offer incentive that was received via email. We'd been considering replacing bathroom vent/fan for a while, so we went ahead and purchased the offer. We called the company as soon as purchase was made and appointment to instal was done for that same week. Work was done quickly and efficiently. Post-installation cleanup could've been a little better, though. The new vent is so quiet, we barely notice when it's on, so it's great! No more feeling like we're inside a plane when taking a shower or using the bathroom. Should've done it sooner!

the two guys were on time, very polite, very helpful.  had knowledge of what was needed an completed job in record time...we were very pleased with their performance .

They were a real pleasure to work with, Scott walked through every aspect of the job from start to finish...

It was a great experience overall.  He was very prompt in responding to my situation, he was honest in his appraisal, and even came out on a Sunday to complete the work.
