CORBITT MOSELEY'S PLUMBING & DRAIN CLEANING

As expected.

I called and he was out to give an estimate with on Monday within 3 hours of the call. I was told he could start the job Friday he never called or showed. I called he said rain was expected which it was sunny the whole day. Then was told he would be out Monday well that day it actually rained. I called back Tuesday and he said it would be the next day. I was given the run around for a little over a week until I was put on hold so he could joke around with his co workers (which I heard) then i was told to give the job to someone else. Keep in mind my i have a over flowing septic tank which is soon to flood my house as it already has done to my back yard. I wouldnt recommend this person for any work what so ever. Not to mention he gave me an estimate that was $400 higher then Roto-Rooter!!

The owner called at one point since my son was very unhappy with the bill and asked if I had any problems with the $875. - what do I know about plumbing and the costs? I never expected the bill to total $875. and some in my area and friends believe the whole house could have been repaired for that amount.

Overall, it went alright. Corbitt himself is a very personable individual, and obviously knows his stuff.
We got in touch with Corbitt Moseley through another contractor who was doing some carpentry work. He called Corbitt and within a couple of hours, Corbitt called me back and said he could come over as soon as he finished up the job he was on. He came in, looked at the problem, and went straight to the cause - the 25 year old septic tank had never been pumped.
Corbitt called a septic service company for us and got us on the schedule for first thing in the morning. He was able to get us some drainage to hold us over till the next day. The following morning, the septic service company showed up, and as asked, I called Corbitt as soon as they arrived. He got here just before they finished and replaced some fittings to make the drain line cleanout accessible (a deck had been built over it at some time in the past). He also re-set the toilet I had installed myself at my request, because I was not overly confident in my having done it right.
I don't know how the pricing compares with others, and I did't ask for an estimate before he started. After a day and a half of no working toilets in a 3 adult house (one of whom has advanced Alzheimer's and could not remember that the toilet didn't work) I really didn't care about the cost, I just desperately needed things fixed.
I would definitely recommend Corbitt Moseley Plumbing. He's prompt, he knows what he's doing, and he does what he says he'll do.

They do plumbing for my rentals and also at my house. I absolutely love everything about them and I like the fact that I can call them 24/7.

The water heater install was very quick and professional. They even repaired the electrical wire. The faucet had to be ordered (mobile home), so they came back on my next off day. They replaced the faucet very quickly, however, the next day I still had a leak. They came back the next day and caulked the whole tub area at no charge. I was impressed with the work, but it could have been done a little neater. I was left with a mess to clean up both times. They also ended up leaving the box for the water heater for me to dispose of. Even though I paid the price they quoted, I felt the price was too high for the work done. To be fair, I don't know that I could have gotten the work done at a cheaper price. I personally just felt the price was too high. When you're in an emergency situation, you pay what is quoted.
