Well, I am the one who has stolen Sebastian away for the last 10 months. My brother passed away and left behind a house that was dilapidated and in a total state of disrepair. It literally was a house that most would say to just knock down and start over. As it was a big job, I got several estimates. Sebastian was different than the rest, His bid was not the lowest. It was not the highest either. But, what set him apart from the rest was his willingness to go out of his way to assist. I live in Washington state. You cannot get much further away from the project I was about to take on, and I needed someone willing to help with my need to feel hands-on, even from this great distance. I had not even hired him yet when he went back and measured a room just so he could answer a question for me. (Was the dining room big enough to be converted into a bedroom?) When the city cited the house for an issue, Sebastian jumped in right away to assure I met the city's deadline. From there, I asked him to take over the whole project and i relied quite heavily on him. To say it was a monumental project would be an understatement. This house was jacked up and stripped to the studs. It is almost 100% new and absolutely nothing went untouched. He was there every step of the way, collaborating and advising. He had feedback and suggestions that helped shaped the house into what it became. He sent me many, many pictures and videos to keep me in the loop. He readily and easily took my direction and swiftly executed any requests. He problem-solved and came up with creative ideas. Nothing phased him and he always fixed any problem that arose. He did not upcharge me for materials and used his connections to secure me the very best prices. He was a great communicator and was always quick to respond. He was on this job for just over 10 months and rarely took a day off. No vacation. He was very dedicated to the project. This project ended up being about twice as mush as we had planned, but the house was literally filled with awful surprises and poor workmanship from previous contractors. In no way could I fault Sebastian for that. No one could foresee what was within the walls. I am convinced that no other contractor would have taken the time and energy he did to assure that everything was corrected and up to code. The house is now very, very solid and beautiful. She looks totally new. She just gleams. And so much credit goes to Sebastian and his crew for that. I literally could not have done this without him. His knowledge and influence made my house the best it could possibly be, with long-lasting and timeless finishes. She is now built to last. The house is going into the rental market. I am quite jealous of the person who will have the privilege of renting it. Vendor after vendor has commented on how great it looks. And the new property manager said it was "very impressive." Sebastian has every right to be proud of the work he has done here. I know I am. I cannot wait to work with him again. I would very much like to convert the garage into living space. Hire him while you can. When we are ready, we are going to steal him back, so take your moment now before it is too late!

I have used Sebastian before and wanted them to do this job because I knew they would do whatever it takes to make the closet right. We used a kit, and of course they are never as easy as they look. So happy with the final result!

We had mold growth and water damage due to a pipe leak on the kitchen. This required the cabinets and moldy drywall be removed, the drywall replaced, the wall to be painted and new cabinets put in. Sebastian Home Improvements was one of four estimates that we received for the repair work. Our friends had used SHI for some water damage repair work on their home and came highly recommended. Sebastian came in to provide a quote and was honest with us about some red flags we saw from one of the other contractors. They were in the mid-range on the pricing for the estimates that we got. He worked with our schedule and his client load to help get our kitchen back in working order as soon as possible. His team works with care and they were very careful to get everything done properly. They were very patient with all our questions. He even called two days after completion to follow up and see how everything was. The initial problem was frustrating, but I'm glad that we found a new service provider that we can trust because of it.

I first hired Sebastian for a small repair of dry wall around a light fixture. He fit me into his schedule the day I called and took care of the job skillfully and in short order, all for a reasonable price. I was impressed with this because I'd previously had trouble getting people to call me back. I hired him again later for several household repair and improvement jobs on a list. He and an assistant came and handled that lengthy list of tasks including small electrical, minor plumbing and the hanging of a large set of curtains with a new rod in a single morning. When an outside screened patio at my house had water damage around a frame, Sebastian surveyed the problem, provided an estimate, and he tackled that job with skill and a craftsman's touch, cutting out damaged portions, removing stucco and replacing everything including the textured stucco then repainting so that all repairs matched the surrounding areas and looked as good as new. Above all, Sebastian is pleasant to work with, hears you out and explains what he needs to do to fix things. His expertise and experience are clear. I recommend him without hesitation for home repairs and improvements small or large. He gets the job done.

Estimated start date was exactly right. The price was a little higher than others, but he came with a good reference from a neighbor and the work was excellent. He was flexible enough to include a last minute addition. Completed the project in a timely fashion. Planning to use him again.

Contractor made appointment and did not show up, did not call and did not text. Texted him when he was 1/2 hour late no reply. 3 days later no reply. Don't waste your time contacting this contractor.

Sebastian returned last week to fix my shower door leak problem. I regret that I had to write a somewhat negative review previously in order to get Sebastian to return. He was caught up in the busy...ness of other jobs and neglected my problem without any response the last two times I contacted him, which he should not have done. However, we are all human and make mistakes..... and I am thankful he fixed the problem. The leak is gone and hopefully it stays that way. His price is a bit high, I think, but he does good work and is meticulous, thorough and trustworthy. I would recommend him to others and would rate him overall an A-.

Sebastian Home Improvement has done work for me on five different occasions over the last several years. He has done electrical, plumbing, stucco, drywall, woodwork, and fencing. His attention to detail is incredible. He treats your property like it is his own and is very dependable. He has very fair pricing and has good communication before and during the job. I have recommended him to other friends and they have all been very pleased with his work. I will only use him for any home improvement work. He has my complete confidence. Give him a try and you will not be disappointed.

The quality and professionalism was good. They are knowledgeable but their price is kinda expensive.

Sebastian and his crew did an amazing job replacing these things and matching our old baseboards perfectly. You can't tell where the new drywall starts and the old drywall begins. Amazing job! We're so happy with the work they did and the attention to detail.

Great! We had half of a wall removed to open up a room and a counter put in on top of the remaining half wall. Sebastian also installed pendant lights above this new bar area, and we get compliments all the time on this area. His work is so seamless and clean that people can't believe a wall was ever there!
