The gentleman came for orientation and advised us that amount we need to pay and they cleaned outside and roof. I was really happy with them and the owner came and check the roofing he went up on the roof and approved the roof. I recommended him to my friends. They were very professional.

Russ did a complete re-roof for me back in 2014 and they were a different company back then. They never had charges for estimates and it was a very personalized service. Fast Forward to 2019 and I have another house and wanted Russ to come out because my first experience was so good, even though he upcharged me on wood repair that I never got to see, nor did I see the receipts for the wood purchased, it ended up costing me a few extra thousand dollars. I think his success by positive reviews and word of mouth has gotten to his head and now they feel like they can "phone it in" when it comes to customer relations and cost. Because when I reached out to him to possibly do another roof his attitude was very cavalier and when I asked about additional work in relation the re roof he wouldn't even consider doing because he said I wouldn't want to pay him to do the job as it would be too expensive, meaning he didn't want to do it even though he could. So he referred me to another contractor and I called this guy and his quote was so outrageous it turned out to be five times the cost of the handyman I hired to do the job. I used to think Russ Noyes Roofing stood for affordable pricing and customer service but I am changing my opinion from the old days to now. Russ may very well have a quality job done but at the price and attitude that comes along with that now is not worth it, there are too many roofers out there starting out that can do the same job for much cheaper and have a better business model than charging people just o come out to do an estimate. If a company feels the need to charge potential clients just for an estimate in this economical climate then I say good luck. I can get 100 free estimates from reputable contractors and won't upcharge for extra wood I didn't see installed.

They did a fantastic job, they worked long hours from start to finish over several weeks getting the job completed in a very timely manner . They were professional and courteous, I would recommend them!

The work was done professionally, although you should be prepared for significant upcharges due to unexpected, added on woodwork at top price! Be careful to check that all work was required for the roofing job. We had extra work done without our permission, that had nothing to do with the roof. Our biggest complaint is how we were treated after the job was completed. We were strong-armed by their "collection" employee, as soon as the job was done. We had paid a deposit and most of the balance was to be paid by the insurance company upon completion. A VERY small balance would finally be paid by us when the insurance checks were in. We were treated disrespectfully and rudely and threatened with a lien on our house. Please don't think we dragged this out... all payments were made ON TIME! However, we were threatened and abused because they wanted immediate payment even though we didn't know what our balance would be. We were insulted and made to feel like deadbeats. I honestly don't know why they acted so rashly...and of course, as everything was settled, they never bothered to apologize for their bullying behavior. Although the roof work was fine, I would never do business with this company again.

Very professional and great quality. Had an issue a couple months later and they came out the same day to resolve it.

Exceeded my Expectations

The owner (Russ Noyes) arrived at our home on time for the tile re-roof estimate. I was very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. I had four estimates and his bid was in the middle and was received the very next morning. His office staff, job foreman and crew were outstanding. The workmanship and materials used were excellent and the job site was cleaned up every day prior to leaving. It was a pleasure doing business with this company. I might add that my background includes some construction experience and I would definitely hire this firm again.

Contracted Russ Noyes roofing in December 2017, received estimate for approximately $38,500 for a 26 gauge metal roof in white,82% reflective of sun. Researched more on YouTube, etc. and in August 2018 after obtaining three or four proposals call Russ Noyes and requested a followup visit Mr. Noyes came a second time, went over all details, answered every question, made suggestions and followed up with another estimate of $38,635 which included another skylight. Suffice to say the replacement roof was completed in February 2018, at the price proposed. there was approximate $3,000 in rotted boards that need to be replaced. Everyone at Russ Noyes roofing was professional. All parts of the proposal that Mr. Noyes recommend exceeded or where exactly what I had researched, including the underlay and gauge of the metal. Mr. Javier who did the metal roof was extremely professional and his workmanship is exceptional. Been monitoring the attic temp in the 85 to 90 degree daytime temperature, and it is approximately the same. Also, estimates of asphalt shingle roof that I received ranged from $23,000 to 27,000. The total cost of roof replacement from Mr. Noyes was $41,007 and included a rebuilt chimney, two skylights, 3 attic fans and replacement of rotted roof boards. Mr. Russ Noyes, staff, etc. did an exceptional job, and the roof will last a minimum of 40 years with proper care.

My house required to reroof. Out of six bids I chose Russ Noyes roofing, not because they were the cheapest , because they seem to be the most competent. They surpassed every expectation of mine. They arrived promptly every day worked very hard and cleaned up every evening. They installed a Master elite GAF roof flawlessly. Every t was crossed and i dotted, when they left after three days there was absolutely no evidence they were here not even one nail. In 68 years I've dealt with eight roofing companies. But I have never seen roofers with this level of professionalism. Further, I have never seeing a roof turn out so beautifully. I would highly recommend Russ Noyes roofing to everyone considering a roofing project. You will not be disappointed.

I am very pleased with the professional service I received from Russ Noyes Roofing. From my first phone contact with Bonnie in the office and Dex Carr who did the estimate I was impressed, Dex was very knowledgeable and polite in his presentation. The roofing crew showed up on time, and they worked all day. in a totally professional manner. They were very polite and were very focused at the job at hand. Bill, the site supervisor, was very polite and took the time to answer any questions I had. Bill and his crew did a great job with site clean up.

Everything went so well. Russ and his team are very professional and instantly gave me assurance that I was in good hands. It was refreshing to find a company who so clearly valued integrity. I truly believe it's the goal of Russ Noyes Roofing to provide a great roof with the highest degree of professionalism. They make it clear that they will not be the cheapest, but will be among the very best. Unfortunately, they did not achieve this goal on our roof job. Pride before the fall. We got a very good roof. We also got irreparable damage to our landscape and we got a collection of urine filled pop bottles the workers left behind. The current count is at four bottles but we may not be done finding them yet. The damage to the landscape was caused by somebody laying a tarp on a bed of heirloom amaryllis to catch debris being thrown off the roof. The plant bulbs were shredded and will not re-grow. See the attached pictures. We're not hysterical prima donnas. According to their sales pitch, there was to be a supervisor on the roof and one on the ground at all times. There were no supervisors on the day the damage took place. The contract has a clause that allows them to replace sheathing and change (in addition to the contract price) for each board. I was assured that I would see a picture of each board as proof that they were not price gouging. They replaced three boards. We never saw a picture. And on and on. We were told we would not find any nails. C'mon, it s roofing job. We're still finding them! Promises are promises. Damage is damage. A re-roof is a noisy messy thing no matter how you talk it up. We never expected a silent sterile experience. But what we got was bad, just plain bad.

Excellent. Several other roofers tried to stop leaks but failed. Some roofers recommended replacing the entire roof at a cost of over $10,000. Russ Noyes was the first roofer to be honest enough to suggest that replacing our roof was unnecessary, that it could be repaired successfully and he would back it up with a warranty guarantee.

Russ was punctual, and very polite - the sort of person you'd like to invite to dinner. He got on the roof and found the spot where the roof was leaking. By way of comparison, we'd had one other roofer before him inspect the roof for an estimate, and not only did the previous guy refuse to get on the roof, (it was wet and he said it was "moldy"), he wanted to charge us $350 just to do a water test to find the leak. Russ went up on the roof, spotted it, and said he could send a guy to seal it up, or said we could just get a handyman to get up there with some sealant. He even told us which sealant to use. No charge, he said, since he was in the area. He will definitely get our business when our roof needs to be replaced.
