[Issue 1 of 2] 1/9/17 I called Pinch-A-Penny & spoke with Alex about the Metal Control Program (STARTED DISCUSSION MORE THAN 5 MONTHS AGO ON 8/1/16). "...will do the treatment, $300-600 most likely, if we do it, pump off, brush pool, etc. Will have Charlie call you to set it up, perhaps 2 weeks before starting it. May be able to start treatment Wed; you don't need to be there". Charlie, "...will talk to Roy about what to do, how much & who, etc. Chlorine not low enough yet. PH needs to be dropped. Josh didn't know until complete water test done...will call me later this week. (I have no notes until Feb, so guess he didn't call!) 2/1/17 Owner, Roy, "...regarding the stain treatment...the water is too cold; it needs to get to 70 degrees...maybe within the next COUPLE OF WEEKS (14 DAYS)..." 2/27/17 (26 DAYS LATER!!!) I calledJosh, "Roy not in now...will give me a price on the stain treatment...& start next week" 3/2/17 Roy, "...needs to be treated for phosphates". (STARTED DISCUSSION MORE THAN 7 MONTHS AGO ON 8/1/16). [Issue 2 of 2] 3/2/17 PINCH-A-PENNY OWNER, ROY PUGS, said that he was offended that we used another company to service our salt system. (That company, Everything 4 Pools, installed it!) I asked Roy if he would talk to Everything 4 Pools' John or Glenn to help straighten things out. He said (angrily) he did not want to talk to them! Finally, in a rage, he said that if I liked Everything 4 Pools so much, I should get them to clean my pool, too!!! I was shocked at the unprofessionalism. I had him on speakerphone, so John, Glenn, & my husband were there to witness this insane business proposition. Everything 4 Pools doesn't clean pools and I am sure he knew that.
