Petty Air Conditioning & Plumbing

Called Petty's this afternoon at 2pm and talked to Richard the owner and he came out within 3 hours and fixed the problem, I've used Petty's in the past and have not 1 complaint, they are courteous, professional and fix the problem without overcharging or forced selling, as a customer I highly recommend Petty's, they are not like other HVAC companies that overcharge or bait n switch to rip off the customer, they don't get angry when you stand behind them and ask questions like other companies..... I give them 5+ stars

The air conditioning unit on my rented townhome was not working. I notified the rental agent who then made an appointment
to have the unit serviced. Richard Petty of Petty Air Conditioning and Plumbing arrived right on time and set straight to work diagnosing
the problem. The A/C unit itself was working but the electric panel that ran the whole system was burned out causing the unit to malfunction.
Richard expertly removed the old panel and installed a new one. It looked very complicated to me but Richard had it rewired and going in no time. Richard was extremely capable and efficient and I would recommend him to anyone who wants a professional job done quickly and well. I am in the processing of buying a home and will not hesitate to call him if I have problems with the unit there.

Company owner Richard Petty is very experienced and knowledgeable and provided an excellent solution to a long-time problem. Our original heat pump was too small to cool the upstairs comfortably and even after many vent adjustments the south/west rooms were never cool enough in hot weather. The new unit keeps all the rooms comfortable and we anticipate considerable energy savings due to the higher seer rating.
The installation was done as scheduled and Richard and his crew were efficient and neat.
Other vendors quoted close to the same price for a lesser 2.5 ton unit and said a 3-ton would be too much for our ductwork and would be noisy. Richard did not agree and he was right-there are no noise problems.
He deducted the utility and company rebates up front so we didn't have to wait for the refund. He'd done a temporary fix earlier this year and (as promised) deducted that cost from the invoice also.
