Moore's Air Conditioning Inc

My older son had used Moore Air Conditioning to fix a problem with his outdoor unit. He had worked with three other services before trying Moore's. None of them were able to fix the unit, however, Clarence Moore identified/fixed the problem in 15 minutes. On that recommendation I contacted Clarence to service the A/C unit in my younger son's newly purchased Town Home. Clarence arrived at the scheduled time on a Saturday. (There was no premium for Saturday work which was nice.) He explained what he was going to do and then proceeded into the attic. The air handler was original equipment from 1987 and the heat pump was installed in 1998 so there was an expectation of problems. Clarence was familiar with the equipment. He fixed a leaky drain pipe, did the expected cleaning and tests on the air handler and then proceeded outside to the heat pump. He found that the aforementioned drain line was actually dumping into the neighbor's yard so he took it upon himself to reroute it back onto my son's property. Given the age of the equipment I am sure there were plenty of "Hidden Charges" that could have been tacked on. A less reputable contractor could have easily charged for these "extras" but Clarence did not. Clarence did all the work within his service fee which I found to be quite reasonable. Clarence gave me an excellent description of the equipment condition as well as his professional opinion on how much life could be expected. I asked him for a quote to replace the unit and he generated one on the spot and included all the tax and energy savings projections that could be expected. When the unit does eventually come to the end of it's life we will be contacting Clarence for the replacement work. Bottom line, it was an excellent experience and I would highly recommend Moore's A/C.
