I spoke to Joey Granger on the phone after reading positive reviews on his website. We agreed on the price and he showed up on the day of Jan 8, 2018. He assured me that he will finish the job the same day. My husband came home from work while he was cutting our oak tree but had to go back to work after a few hours. Before he left, he talked to Joey Granger who said that he will try to finish the load, but if he couldn't, he would be back first thing the following morning. With trust and a handshake, my husband gave him the check for full payment. When I came home that night, I saw most of the limbs and pieces of trunk all scattered in my front yard, I texted him right away asking why they were not picked up. He promptly responded that he was coming back in the morning the following day to finish the job. When he did not show up by 1pm, I texted and called him several times with no response at all. I also sent him an email, he did not respond to that either. A few days passed and Joey Granger has yet to show up to clean up the debris. I began to worry that something might have happened to him, so I kept on texting and calling him to check on him, still no response. I began to think then that he might have deleted me from his contacts. On Friday, Jan 12, 2018, one of my co workers volunteered to call him, (Joey Granger) on his cell phone to get an appointment for an estimate to cut her tree from her yard and sure enough Joey Granger responded promptly to her phone call and was willing to come the same day. That just proved that Joey Granger was fine, and was ready to take another job while he left an unfinished job in my yard after he was paid in full and the promise that he would come back to finish it. I was afraid that the grass beneath the tree limbs all over my lawn, and my HOA complaining about the eyesore, I hired another lawn company to clean Joe Granger's mess. Now, I'm left with more expense and the thought of not trusting businesses with good reviews thinking that the reviews are not written by real actual people. This guy looks and sounds trustworthy. He even speaks of his wife and children but you can't trust this man. Joseph "Joey" Granger is his name. I have the check, text messages, and emails to prove everything in court.
