Thank you! This appeared to be a quick and easy fix, and while there are some other underlying issues that the power company will need to handle on their end, what was handled by our electrician was done quickly and resulted in an immediate fix to a problem we were dealing with since buying the house.

Paid up front for half the work. A portion of it was completed, but the generator was never delivered. Mr. Rosu promised to show up on multiple occasions to finish the work, but he never did. He subsequently agreed to return the money he still owed us (about $2500). To this date he has not returned the money and we are now taking him to court. He has multiple addresses and keeps sending our legal documents back.

Called with an emergency electrical problem on Saturday. The person I spoke to stated they could come Sunday, and for me to text my address and contact info, and that they would be there Sunday between 3:00 and 5:00PM.  Waited at home the entire time. No one ever showed up and no one ever called.

Overall, the procedure went well from start to finish. Electrician (Paul) promptly called back and set up agreeable timetable, informed me of any issues pertaining to vent routing upon discovery and when completed, could not tell an installation had taken place. Have used this company before for breaker panel replacement and will continue to use them in the future for any electrical work.

It was done neatly, efficiently and with an exceptional amount of professionalism. Paul did the work and I would ask for him again. He suggested I buy the lights if I choose to save a few dollars, otherwise they could provide them for me.

Paul did a good job the 1st day, but never came back to finish. He has stood me up twice since and has avoided my calls for 4 weeks. I am now paying someone else to finish.

"The customer had repairs done on the electrical system where possible, some items desired could not be installed due to the unconventional structure (2nd story log cabin built over a 1st story garage). Other items were no longer in working condition possibly due to the building remaining unfinished for a period of years and needed replacement. A free quote was provided and we completed the approved work."

Ours was a mixed experience. Although Paul from Greenstar was pleasant and competent, we must say that our experience was a negative one. Paul DOES NOT respond to messages in a timely fashion...if at all. It is very difficult to communicate with him: his voice mailbox is ALWAYS full making it impossible to leave a message, and he does not respond to emails. Appointments were changed without notification, causing delays. ( If we did not work from home, we would have missed a number of days work, waiting for him to show up!) Although what work he did perform was good, he did not complete the entire job that we had discussed...and he never called to explain why he failed to show up to a scheduled appointment for completion of the job. Nor did he respond to our numerous attempts afterwards, to try to reschedule. Very disappointing! Consequently, we have had to contract with someone else to finish his work. Bottom line, if you are looking for someone who is pleasant, competent, reasonably priced but completely unreliable, and you happen to have unlimited time to wait for the job to be completed (maybe) then, Paul is your man.

"When we met this customer they had major code violations with the city that we worked with for weeks to resolve (they had built an unpermitted structure). We performed the contracted work and went far above and beyond in advising the customer of what the city required. We cannot engage in work that does not meet local standards."

I called Paul Rosu after obtaining his name through the Service Magic website. The work I needed done was not an urgent matter but was something I wanted to check off my list, so to speak. Paul happed to be in the area and stopped by to provide an estimate for the job to be done over a two day period. I liked his explanation as to what was entailed and his estimate seemed reasonable based on a prior electrician's estimate. Paul came the first day and completed the outside work. I paid him for that portion of the job. He was to return the following day but the remaining job was put off for a day. I had no problem with that. Paul arrived as scheduled on 05/18/11 to complete the job which was to replace the main breaker panel. I paid him the balance owed. He gave me a ten percent discount based on internet referral. Paul was very pleasant and it was obvious he knew what he was doing. I would definitely hire him again.
