Matt is one of the best providers you will find on Angie's List. He initially came out to give me an estimate to solve the drainage issue in my back yard. He walked the property and came up with an effective plan to fix the problem. I had several provider come out to give estimates but Matt was the only one to lay out the plan he used. His price was also very competitive. When I called him back to contract him, he got me on the schedule quickly. Matt showed up the day of the job bright and early. The drainage system was put in quickly (much faster than I expected) and Matt walked the property with me after to explain what he did. After the drainage was completed, Matt mentioned he also did landscaping. I was planning to do the landscaping at a later time but Matt offered to give me an estimate that he would honor when the time came. I had some bushes that needed to come out and wanted to resod the front and back yard. I also wanted to change the plants in front of the house. Matt again laid out a plan and gave a great price. I decided to do the work right then. Again Matt showed up the day scheduled nice and early and got to work. Its worth noting that before Matt came back, it rained and I realized the drainage needed to be extended about 10 feet. Matt took care of that at no charge. He also was very receptive about minor changes to the landscaping plan and finished the entire project in 2 days. My lawn has never looked better and Matt's work has completely revitalized the look of my house. Thank you Matt for all your hard work.

They did a great job. My wife and I were both very happy with the results. Several neighbors and a couple of other contractors all commented on how great the lawn looked. I would highly recommend them.

The whole experience with Matt was first class from the initial contact to the end result. He was on time for both the estimate and the actual work. His cost was in line with what we had budgeted which was a plus as well. He did an excellent job of keeping us updated throughout the process and was very up front on the time line as well. I will definitely be utilizing his services again.

I contacted Matt and he was in my house right away. He did an excellent job in my lawn. I keep hiring him. I don't know if the price is right, but he does an excellent job.

Matt brought in heavy equipment to complete the job. The work included digging out the palmettos and azaleas, clearing both areas, adding topsoil, planting, and mulching. An existing low garden bed (at the side of the house) was enlarged by adding additional cobblestone pavers. And the sprinkler system was checked; one head was replaced. All work was completed in one day.

I got three bids and Matt was least expensive. Turns out Matt will consider lower cost blocks than the other bids I got. That alone saved me a lot of money. Matt was out with 1 or 2 helpers and had the wall up in no time. I was impressed on how good it looked and how straight it was. I had a drainage problem every since I bought the house 5 years ago. My first effort was a drain in the ground and resodding the area. There is about a 5 foot drop behind my house to the green way. After 5 years the grass was almost gone and the erosion was getting closer to my home. In the process of putting up the wall, Matt leveled the area behind the house. Looks like it will last for a long time. Couldn't be happier. I've included some pics below.

My corner lot is absolutely beautiful now thanks to Matt.  He came out and quoted me a very fair price.  I asked him to do some things which were outside his quote.  He cleared out several large bushes & debris which made a dramatic difference in the look of the property and I'm sure that it would have cost me considerably more somewhere else.  I would definitely recommend Matt to anyone who is looking for quality & extremely fair pricing.  Thanks Matt!!

Matt, did everything he said he would do and was a pleasure to work with; showed up on time and was very attentive.  I will definitely use him for any of my landscaping needs again!  I was very happy with his work...he knows his profession well!

Matt called and let me know that he would work at my townhome at the end of the week....he called and said he could come on Wednesday to remove the old plants and then on Thursday he would install the new plants and mulch.  Matt was on time, he and his work partner were very professional and completed everything as promised.
 
PS.....On Friday morning my neighbor and I noticed that there was a problem in the front of my unit.......there was a huge hole in the ground and all of the soil and mulch were on my neighbors sidewalk......I called Matt ...... he was working on another project but came to my townhome to see the problem......he said he thought that when he was removing the big sago in front of the unit he had to pull the sago out with a tractor like machine........after seeing the hole and displaced soil and mulch he said he was sure a sprinkler pipe was broken......he got right to work, dug out the new plant, and dug deep down and found the broken sprinkler pipe.......he repaired the pipe, replanted, re- mulched and cleaned my neighbor's sidewalk......he is very professional and honest and has a wonderful work ethic......I will always call Matt when I am in need of landscaping services.

Day one started with the removal of the saw palmetto's and old plants by Matt and his helper removing the other plants. These were piled between the side walk and the street for pickup the next day with a truck and lift bucket. Various limbs were removed from trees.
Day two fill dirt was added where needed and sod started to be laid. New bed areas were cleaned and readied for plants and sod laid outlining those beds. Also at this time irrigation lines were checked and repaired as needed before plants were planted. Matt performed all repairs as we found them.
Day three plants were placed in there appropriate spots and planted. Irrigation lines were again checked and heads moved or adjusted for the new plants. All beds were mulched. Ran a little short on mulch which Matt picked up on Monday  and finished the job.
Matt addressed all my concerns and provided me with the information for this project. He is a pleasure to work with and was very responsive to my calls. I would highly recommend Eby's Landscaping for any job large or small. I will be calling Matt in the spring for another project.

MATT DESIGNED ALL ASPECTS OF THE PROJECT WHILE LISTENING TO THE TYPE OF PLANTS WE LIKED. HE WAS EASY TO WORK WITH AND HIS EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE OF PLANTS HELPED US TO OBTAIN A BEAUTIFUL LANDSCAPE SCENE THAT WILL BE EASY TO MAINTAIN. WE WERE REALLY AMAZED AT HIS ASTUTE SCHEDULING OF THE VARIOUS PARTS OF THE PROJECT AND HOW EFFICIENTLY THE WORK WAS DONE. HE MET ALL OF THE TIMEFRAMES HE PROMISED AND HIS PRICE WAS VERY COMPETITVE.
WE HAVE BEEN IN THE CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS UP NORTH FOR OVER 40 YEARS AND WE WERE UNAWARE OF THE VARIOUS TYPES OF PLANTS AND TREES USED IN THIS AREA AND HE PROVIDED PICTURES AND SPECIFICATIONS OF THE VARIOUS TREES AND SHRUBS THAT HE PROPOSED AND REASONS WHY THEY SHOULD BE USED IN OUR PROJECT.
WE ENJOYED THAT HE WAS "HANDS ON" AND WAS IN CONTROL OF THE PROJECT AT ALL TIMES. WE FEEL THAT MATT EBY EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS AND WE WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYBODY WHO WANTS TO DO A BEAUTIFUL LANDSCAPING PROJECT. HE ALSO HAS FOLLOWED-UP AFTER THE WORK WAS COMPLETED TO COUNSEL WITH US PERTAINING TO MAINTENANCE AND THE PROPER STEPS TO TAKE TO INSURE OUR PROJECT STAYS BEAUTIFUL.

He did a really fantastic job, made time and was very knowledgable, and did exactly what he said he would do!

This is the third time I have used Eby's Landscape for various landscaping projects at my Winter Springs home. They always do a great job and I am so impressed by the quality of their work and their professionalism. Working with Matt is a real pleasure because he is responsive and communicates well.  I give Eby's Landscaping my highest recommendation and will use them again for future projects.

Matt was a gem to work with...he was responsive to my questions and concerns for the project. Met with me more than once to discuss job. Was quick to respond with pricing. Very knowledgeable on plants/trees for Central Florida garden. Team came prepared and completed the job beautifully within one day. I am SO happy! My yard is beautiful :) I also was awarded yard of the month. 

Matt was prompt and  efficient.  I really did not think he would complete on time - it seemed like alot of work for him and one helper.  Matt said he would be able to finish on time  and he did.  Specimens were healthy and the design was perfect.  I let Matt do what he felt was best and I could not be more pleased.  I have already asked Matt to begin phase two later this month.  Total experience was positive, Matt was very conscientious and cleaned up daily.

This company provided the beautiful final touches to our pool renovation that we needed. They finished the job in one day and were very professional and hard working. We could not have done this or pictured this ourselves. It was worth they money having Ebys come in and make our pool look like the beautiful oasis we were looking for.

I was having difficulty trying to find someone to build a retaining wall .   My yard has a sloping grade and the sand/dirt was backwashing onto my paver deck. 

Matt quoted a fair price and the work was complted in one day.  I was VERY happy with the results.   Matt - Eby Landscaping - was professional, courteous, and reliable.  
I will be using Eby Landscaping agin in the future for pavers.
