It started great. Sam and I talked on the phone a few times, he maintained other lawns in the neighborhood so he was familiar with the average lawn size. He went to my house, looked at my lawn and gave me an estimate. His employee mowed the lawn. It took longer than Sam had anticipated. He came back to the house and spoke with my husband. Sam informed us that rather than giving us a new estimate, he would not be taking care of our lawn, however he would get us through June so we would have time to find someone else. He and my husband shook hands and he left. Sam then texted my husband and said that he would not be returning. He didn't make enough money on our lawn and would not get us through the next month, or even week. A better way to handle the issue would have been to offer a new estimate for mowing the lawn, or to at least keep his word. He was rude, dishonest and unprofessional.
