I get a call about every two months from these people telling me it is
time for my annual service.  One time they called two weeks after they
had actually performed the service.  They last time they sent out the
youngest tech who took a screw driver and nut driver upstairs to the air
handler and appeared with the bill about ten minutes later to tell me
the "service"  was done. No sanitization and from what I could tell no
check on the coolant level.
About three months later I called
because the air handler had gone off completely.  They are supposed to
come out with a call out fee iif you have a problem with the serviced
unit between services.  The receptionist tried to make out that I had
somehow missed a fuse or circuit breaker but said she would have a tech
call.  I asked for the boss but again got the younger son. When I had
not heard from him for two days I called the office again and they had him
call later that day.   He said there would be an $80 call out fee and I
reminded him of their service policy.  He said he would check and call
me back and that was the last I heard from them.  I had to call another
company who came out and remedied the problem - a faulty ballast in the
UV light system.
That will be the last time I use them.

I don't want to use them again but I am kind of locked into a contract. Within a year there was a problem and they, of course, blamed it on the fact that it was manufactured out of the U.S. They have called about 6 times to ask about my spring regular service and I've told them they have already done it. They don't keep good records. The receptionist is an idiot. Every time I call, she wants me to solve the problem. I wouldn't be calling if I could solve the problem. They are very frustrating. I do like the one young man that does the work but I don't like dealing with the people in the office.

Two employees did the service and told me they'd found a problem with both my condenser and evaporater fan. According to them, both fan motors were exceeding rated aperage and needed replacement. Since my AC was covered by my home warranty, I called my warranty company to do the repairs. They send out a technician from Burleson Services (Ferran) who told me all components were operating within guidelines, and showed me how the Air Comfort techs had produced the erroneous readings. The second opinion cost me $60.00, so the Air Comfort annual check-up actually cost me double--but it could have cost a lot more if I had taken the Air Comfort techs at their word! Since then, Air Comfort continues to annoy me with telephone solicitation calls although each time I ask to be taken off of their list and they promise they will not call again. No wonder the company has an F rating with Angies and the BBB!

the overall instalation wen't fine (or so we thought) about a year or so later we had a problem where our power all through the house drained. we called the elect company whom after inspecting determined the problem was the compressor. Air Comfort fixed what they determined to be wrong for the cost of 250.00 did not fix the problem. after our home caught fire from the compressors faulty wireing we called Farren who found the the whole entire unit was installed incorectly. they were able to fix the problem which turned out to be comming from the air handler that whole time. When we thought the instalation had gone well we refered them to 2 friends who have had nothing but problems as well. would not ever use or recomend them again.

I had been using them for several years. I got mad at them this time, so I fired them. I didn t like how they handled me. They keep calling, bothering me and it can be annoying. Beware! They don t listen to their customers.

I used Air Comfort because the previous owners of our condo used them. They originally came out and replaced the thermostat in January, 2006. Then they "sold" us on a UV light. This was $900, and I have learned since then that we really do not need one here. In September they came out and said the air handler was rusted (yes, that was correct) and we needed to replace it with a new one. The cost was $2,400. We felt we had to do this and the new one was installed. After that time, we would hear a squeaky sound before the unit would come on. The owner, Henry, came out to check. He could not find the problem, but tried one possible remedy. That did not work, so he came out again. He then said we needed a new $3,500 outside unit. At this point, I called another company. The other company found the problem (flapping insulation in the new air handler; Air Comfort never checked inside the handler because it was still glued shut from the installation).

WE WILL FIND A NEW COMPANY. BY AND LARGE THEY ARE A SMALL COMPANY. THEY HAD INSTALLED HALF OF THE AIR CONDITIONER AND THE OUTSIDE UNIT, SO WE CALLED THEM BECAUSE THEIR STICKER WAS ON THE UNIT. THEY DID NOT FIX ANYTHING FOR 10 MONTHS. THE THERMOSTAT WAS BROKEN, AND THEY SENT PEOPLE OVER AND OVER AGAIN TO TRY AND FIX IT, AND THEY DID NOT. THEY WEREN'T LOOKING AT THE THERMOSTAT WHICH IS WHERE THE PROBLEM WAS.

THEY TOOK CARE OF IT WITHOUT ME HAVING TO BE THERE. IT WAS GOOD. OBVIOUSLY THEY WERE VERY GOOD BECAUSE THEY CAME OUT AND DID THE WORK WHEN I WAS GONE. THEY WERE VERY PUNCTUAL AND CAME OUT.
