Looks great! I was able to select my style and color when they arrived and did not have to go to a show room. Knowledgeable and hard working. Would hire them again.

While the finished project was beautiful, they covered over two sprinkler heads. These heads were near the surface of the ground. In fact, when you dig away the dirt, you can feel where the top of the sprinkler head touches the bottom of the concrete edging. The installers should have seen these two sprinkler heads. At no time did the wife, Stephanie, tell us that we needed to make sure to mark all the sprinkler heads or they might cement over them. When I tried to reach her via email and phone, I got an email response stating: "I received your message in regards to the sprinkler. Although we try diligently to watch for those, unless they are marked, we have no way of knowing that they are there. It's okay to dig underneath the curbing (carefully) and move the sprinkler head. Once the head is moved, just be sure and compact the dirt underneath the curbing so that it still has the ground base. Hope this helps." I was not inclined to do anything that might jeopardize this $3000 investment, so I called the irrigation company. After I had the irrigation carefully dig and relocate the sprinkler heads, I asked the company to please consider financial assistance. The cost I was seeking was $161.00. They declined to respond. I suppose now that I made this review online they might actually respond. This was a big job. It took two days and cost over $3,000.00 Asking for them to pay for their mistake amounting to $161.00 seems like a good practice to me. There are others out there that will do the right thing. This company is not one of them.
Response from A Curbing Edge
"It was clearly explained and documented (with full signatures from the homeowner) that all sprinkler heads needed to be marked by the owner PRIOR to installation. Upon arrival to the home on the day of installation, the homeowner had not marked ANY of the sprinkler heads, therefore, we were unable to see all of them that were under the surface. Although we tried to make a very concerted effort in trying to spot all of the heads, with 685 linear feet of curbing we installed, unfortunately only two of them were not seen - due to them being located below the surface. This was not a lack of performance on our part, but a neglect on the part of the homeowner to mark their irrigation, knowing fully, that we would be installing curbing near the areas of the sprinklers. We apologize for the inconvenience that was caused to the homeowner over their 2 unmarked sprinkler heads, but filing a complaint to Angie's List within 48 hours after demanding $161 from us does not warrant any type of requirement on our part."
