About us
Our philosophy since 1993, with the promotion of the International Society of Arboriculture in this region, has been to educate our consumers to proper pruning structure and techniques. We developed a specific program for main stem development and proper pruning techniques that defied the norm in this area. All of the tree pruners of this time were taught to “clean up” the trees and virtually strip them of growth between the trunks & main stems out to the tips (lions-tailing) – through education and perseverance we managed to develop and maintain a recommendable amount of customers who were interested in proper pruning and main stem development and the importance of Urban Forestry.

At the intial visit, I made it very clear how important my landscape and plants were to me. I am a gardener which means I'm always out planting and taking care of my yard. I did not want any existing plants damaged in the process of the tree removal. We discussed the path for removal to avoid any impact. On the day of work, I spoke with the Lead person, again emphasizing my concern about damage to exisitng plants and that I wanted them to be very careful. As they started work, one crew member stepped on a plant on his way to the side yard. I observed this looking from the window inside into the front yard. I immediately went outside to again say to be careful, this time in front of the whole crew. Unfortunately, I had an appointment and needed to leave. Because I felt I was clear about my concerns, I thought everything would be OK. However, when I returned the surrounding plants were all flattened, apparently when lowering the heavy branches, and the crew attempting to catch it and carry it out to the front for haul away.
When the invoice arrived, I did pay it because they completed the work, but I attached a letter to the owner stating how upset I was that three times my concerns were ignored. I attached pictures of the plant damage expecting a response of some sort.
I never heard back.
I feel this company does not respect their client's concerns and property which to me shows a lack of professionalism.
