Complete Home Inspection
Russell Hampel (Orlando Top Home Inspection) cut corners (didn't check crawlspace - he claimed the door wouldn't open yet it opened just fine for me when I checked it later, said he couldn't open any windows due to locks on them. (There were tiny safety locks that took 5 seconds each for me to remove without tools and check each window myself.) He was very argumentive about a MAJOR code violation involving the electrical box. Had it not been for my realtor who is GREAT, I never would have known. It cost $7,000 to get the electrical replaced. Thank goodness for my realtor fighting this quack home inspector! New 4-point photos needed to be taken after electrical was complete. Russell told me via email there was no charge for this then refused to send me updates without paying him more. When challenged about this, he literally admitted to extortion. I am now speaking to an attorney and complaining to DBPR. Awful home inspector and awful human being Do not trust. Do not use.

The Wind Mitigation Inspection for my homeowners policy went without a hitch. Russ showed up on time and was done in less than an hour. The cost was $75 and saves me $625 every year! This was well worth the time and money spent!
