They handled the mortgage themselves. Mr. Sam Hayes was the agent that handled it. Their under writing department was terrible. The girl that did the under writing didn't know what she was doing. I got three different prices on the house, because of her. She was supposed to have all of the documents within 72 hours of closing on the house and every time I turned around, she was asking for something else. She was asking for stuff that she should have had. The only problem that I had was with the under writing department. The guy that was handling the mortgage, Mr. Hayes, did an excellent job, Jennifer his assistant was excellent, but when it came to the under writing department, they did not know what they were doing. The day before we were supposed to close, but couldn't because she needed another appraisal. I was upset by that point. I had no problem with the lender, they gave me the best rate. They were late and ended up writing me a refund check for the insurance on the home until we closed. The insurance company had already issued the policy and it had already been paid. I had to pay money out of my pocket because of the under writer. I lost a tenant that I was going to put in the place because of the under writer. I put 20 percent down too. The guy doing the mortgage was very responsive, answered my emails and phone calls. I couldn't ask for anybody better than the guy handling the mortgage, it's the under writing department I have the complaint with. Everything is because of the under writing department, they weren't timely. The guy handling the loan was very professional. I would use them again, if Mr. Hayes takes care of it.

.We appreciated Karen's knowledge gained by being in the business for 17 years. No matter how many times we asked the same questions, she always gave a caring and knowing answer. She took a personal interest in us, guiding us through many different villas/condos we put bids on and lost out. She made sure all the piles of paperwork necessary was in order for every one of them, including our purchased villa. We cannot say enough good about Karen Zengels-Hagen! Awesome!
