TIRES PLUS

I've been looking for a good mechanic that does good work for a fair price ever since I've moved to town. After visiting this place, I'm still searching. The techs were very nice and helpful. They diagnosed the issue and clearly explained the work involved. Everything seemed fine. Unfortunately, they also marked up the price of the part needed for repair by 2 to 3 times what it would cost to go down the road and pick it up from the auto part store. I totally understand that there's some shop markup involved, and it does cost something to have the part delivered to the shop or picked up. But 2-3 times the price of retail seems very excessive. Caution to everyone looking to use this shop. Make sure you double check the retail price of parts before you authorize work. They will gouge you. UPDATED: I reached out to social team, since they asked me to send some more information. Will update this review if anything comes out of it.

Changed tires and oil without issue. Made suggestions as appropriate.

It was fine. They were very accommodating. They're reliable, they do a good work and they respond promptly. I can get in and well location.

I had a nail in my tire that was leaking air very slowly. I took it to my previous tire store but they said they could not find the leak. I pointed out the nail in my tire and they said it wasn't leaking from that.
Whatever.
So I went to Tire Plus and they said they would take the nail out and plug it for free. Also they were having a deal on oil changes. I did not qualify for the deal because of the oil my car takes. But I got the oil change anyway.
They were done in an hour and I got a sushi recommendation that turned out great.
I really like that they were willing to fix a flat tire for free. Even though I did not buy the tire there nor had I ever been there before.
The waiting area is kind of spartan with old magazines, a TV and a few chairs. But the service was great.
