I want to warn you as this company took advantage of me during the last hurricane Ian. I called them in to dry my house out, they were very quick to take my money, but removed only half of the wet floors and left me hanging for over a week, with the rest, which completely defeated the purpose of hiring them. Same happened to lots of people that I know - they took the job and the money and then disappeared. They did finish the job couple weeks later, but till today I don't have an invoice to give to the insurance company as per their admin they don't give one out. So just be careful, I was so in a hurry to dry my home as fast as possible and didn't do a proper job researching this company. I don't want you to make the same mistake.

Servpro was contracted to complete work in my home due to a terrible leak that affected half the kitchen. I was temporary housed elsewhere and not living in my home at the time. A month into Servpro’s work in my home, on July 31, my refrigerator was discovered unplugged along with a horrible smell of rot, rotted food, larva throughout (freezer and lower frig). Let me note that, my home’s attic and some of the walls were completely open at this time. This could have potentially been a much worse situation had it not been discovered when it was. There was already the start of gnats and a few flies in my kitchen. Again, my attic was completely open because the kitchen ceiling had to be replaced along with one entire side of the kitchen. It is still not clear how long the frig was unplugged before July 31 or why it was even unplugged in the first place as it was not on the affected side of the kitchen. To make matters even worse and more stressful, Servpro’s incompetence with handling this problem created further damage. Servpro sprayed their pesticide in the frig and left it for a week closed and unplugged. A week later it was cleaned and still left open, disassembled and unplugged until August 12. My frig is older; however, it was in great condition before Servpro did damage it. Servpro agreed to remove the frig with an understanding that it was clear the frig would need to be replaced. Once the frig was out of my home (again, I was not in my home at this time), then all the back and forth about the frig began and they refused to continue to speak to me. Then I received an email offer with the option to replace the frig with a similar model. I accepted this offer since my 2002 frig was no longer made by Electrolux. I agreed to their option for a similar replacement frig and asked for next steps. Then things changed. Next, Servpro sent an email expressing they were deodorizing the frig instead and having it checked out by a service technician since we could not come to an agreement on a replacement. I reiterated our initial offer in writing and Servpro expressed that they have done everything to help me and I have refused that and they are not buying a new frig (although I never asked for a new frig). I refused to continue to argue when this is not an issue of fair market value but instead loss. I mentioned I would seek legal counsel for what they owe me. Servpro then sent an email suggesting they have tried multiple times to resolve this matter and that I have refused everything. They expressed that there was confusion initially and that the replacement offer was based on the style and depreciated value of my old frig. I can take $200 and/or my current frig now deodorized and with good levels of freon. They suggested problems with my frig were because my frig was old. In addition, I can continue communication with their lawyer. I did respond to that email and the lawyer and I did not receive a response. This lead me to also try a few avenues out of court as alternatives with the Orange County Bar Association—unfortunately, also to no avail. Servpro continues to stand their ground with only wanting to pay me $200. As of Oct 4, servpro's attorney mailed the attached letter. Again this is not what we agreed to based on the damaged frig. It is clear servpro's intention was never to replace my frig but instead to only work to clean the damaged frig and return it to me. Their letter is included as a picture along with initial offer and letter from Servpro.

A company fixing our washer accidentally cut the line and caused flooding in our home. We called Servpro of Winter Park and they came out within the hour. We had a lot of questions about the process and Jen and James were there to answer every question we had. My husband and I were very stressed about it, but thanks to the good nature of the people at Servpro they helped ease the tension and made us laugh. We are so grateful for their good humor and support during such a trying time. We really appreciate you all.

"Mr. [Member Name Removed] was provided as much information as Servpro of Winter Park could give him upon initial arrival to the clients home and throughout the job. Mr. [Member Name Removed] was never given a quote by Servpro of Winter Park of $24,000.The client was very aware that Servpro was working with his insurance in regards to the bill, which is standard protocol. We not only did cleanup work for Mr. [Member Name Removed] but Servpro spent weeks packing up, moving, and cleaning all the clients contents from his home. Servpro also thoroughly cleaned and deodorized the interior of the structure as well, an extensive process that requires significant labor, equipment and resources that we solely invested in Mr. [Member Name Removed] for those weeks. It's also worth noting Mr. [Member Name Removed] has only paid $33,586.24 of the $50,366.99."

They were on time and very knowledgeable, they ended up finishing an hour ahead of schedule too, so that was definitely a big plus! They explained the service they completed immediately after and didn't hesitate to answer questions (because I had a lot, haha).

"Thank you so much for the review, it was wonderful working with you!"
