I called the company to come out to see the water damage inside our house from Tropical Storm Fay. We had to have drywall removed, have the blocks and studs dried out and new drywall installed. This company wanted to charge me $150 to come to my house to give an estimate. The $150 would then be credited to my account when they completed the work. I asked why they would charge so much for an estimate, and I was told because they had better things to do with their time than go around and give free estimates. They asked for the dimensions to be faxed to them and they would give a free quote over the phone. I never responded to that.

While most of our house has tile floors, the bedrooms are carpeted. In one bedroom and closet, adjoining the laundry room, the carpeting was ruined and the Servpro people removed it. They also removed approximately 60 feet of baseboard. The first day they took a lot of pictures of the damage and then they returned each day that the fans and dehumidifiers were running to measure the humidity in the walls. On the fourth day they pronounced the drying complete.

The owners and employees were very kind and understanding of my situation. They arrived when they said the would and did everything needed to keep my sanity. They cleaned everything up and made everything look and smell wonderful. All I had to do was pay my deductible.

The crew was knowledgeable and professional. They kept in touch with the insurance company and made sure everyone knew what was going on. The job was completed to my satisfaction and I had no problem at all. I would recommend them highly.
