This family owned practice was established in 1964, is the winner of 3 Super Service Awards (SSA) on Angie's List, & is a Spanish speaking practice to further assist all patients. Generations of Smiles is a father/daughter practice with more than 60 years worth of combined experience in the dentistry field. Dr. Schamp graduated from West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 1992 & was the President of the American Women's Dental Association during her senior year of Dental School. She joined her father, B.C. Schamp in June of 1993. She purchased the practice in 1998 & has practiced solo ever since. She is an active member in good standing of CDDS, FDA, ADA & an alumnus of West Virginia University School of Dentistry. This practice provides exceptional patient care, allowing them to win the SSA on Angie's List in 2011, 2013, & 2014. Located in the heart of Winter Park, we provide services ranging from general dentistry, to cosmetic surgery, to dentures, to crowns & bridgework. Dr. Schamp did a really great job with bonding on my front teeth. It looks amazing! She has a great attention to detail, walked me through exactly what she was doing and made sure that I was happy with the final product. Everyone in the office is very friendly and there's a lot of positive energy.

This place is awesome! I made an appointment for my son, but later found out that they were not in my network. Nidya was so very helpful in trying to guide me to a in network provider. She went well above and beyond to assist in the matter and I would definitely refer them to anyone that has them in their network...even though Nidya is a Philadelphia Eagles fan, GO COWBOYS!!

This was a very last-minute thing that happened earlier this year (I forgot to review!) - I found Dr. Schamp here on the list after my 80 year old mother called me and said that her tooth was hanging by a thread. I was impressed with Dr. Schamp's reviews, so I called. She was able to see my mother the same day! The staff is unbelievably nice and helpful over there, and Dr. Schamp is amazing...she and the staff really went out of their way to make my mom feel comfortable and happy. Dr. Schamp is my mother's dentist from here-on-out...she has been back twice since then and will continue because the service is so great!

From the time I made the phone call I felt at ease. The office staff was friendly and professional. I had not been to the dentist in a while and they did not make me feel bad about it at all. They were comforting and explained everything to me in great detail which really put me at ease. The office was lovely and very comfortable. Instead of making me wait in the chair for the hygienist they let me sit on the couch in the waiting room until she was ready. Dr. Schamp took her time with me and was honest about the work that I needed. I believe she gave me a fair estimate of what was needed and that I could trust what she was telling me. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who has had a bad experience at the dentist or for anyone just looking for a qualified competent dentist who cares about your experience in her office.

Semi-Emergency. I had a bridge that fell off. Since I was in no pain and do not have a dentist, I had a chance to review local dentist. I found Dr. Schamp received many good reviews on Angie's List, so I gave the office a call. I was scheduled for first thing the following day. The receptionist was extremely helpful and very pleasing to speak with. I was seen within five minutes of my appointment and x-rays taken. Dr. Schamp reviewed the x-rays, looked in my mouth and at my bridge. She said, there was nothing wrong with the bridge and that the cement used at that time slowly leaks through the years and that the bridge just needed to be re-cemented. She didn't see a reason to make a new bridge when there was nothing wrong with the one that came off. I appreciated her honesty and commitment to taking care of the patient both medically and financially. The office was very clean, the staff was extremely nice, appointment and payment were quickly and easily handled. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Schamp to family, friends, and Angie's List Members

I like Dr. M. René Schamp very much. She has excellent hygienists. She's very good at talking to her patient. She's very reasonable with her prices, as much as you can be with dentistry. I like her practice very much. She really tries to take people that don't have dental insurance. Most doctors, if you don't have insurance, they just charge you the whole amount. But she tries to make the price about the same as what somebody would be paying if they had insurance. I really like her very much.

It was a great experience. She is skillful, thorough and she is a good communicator. She used a new (to me) technology to take full X-rays, and she took the time to carefully check all of my teeth and fillings. She asked me questions about how I take care of my teeth, and then made a further recommendation to keep them healthy. We had a great dentist for 35 years, and we were worried that we would have a hard time getting a new dentist as good as our old one. That's no longer a worry.

Have been very satisfied with the service. The staff is attentive, well trained, a joy to work with. And Dr. Schamp is terrific. She takes her time, is interested in the patient as a human being, not just a mouth to fix. The charges are modest and they give discounts to first-timers, which was nice.
The only criticism we have is their choice of background music. My husband and I are a couple of retired "old fogies" who do not appreciate whatever passes for music these days and, unfortunately, that is what they have.

Unfortunately I was unable to have an appointment with this dentist. I left an urgent message for her office but they failed to call me back until I had already made an appointment with another dentist. In fact I had already seen the other dentist by the time they called me back. I was very disappointed

I like everything about her and what I like most about her is that she had an option to fix a problem that my other dentist didn't have. My teeth were concave and she filled them in when the other dentist said there was nothing they could do about this. She was more knowledgeable or creative and she had a solution. I was begging the other dentist and he said there was nothing you can do. I will continue to use her services in the future for my dental health.

I wanted to change my dentist because I had some teeth that had a lot of problems. I’m 54 and I thought that they would be gone sooner than me. I really liked my old dentist and I had been to him for 15 years. I asked him if there was something that I could and he said that there was nothing that he could do there. I didn’t believe and I changed. There has been a positive experience with Dr. Schamp. I would give her 5 stars all the way around. She had a solution whereas the other dentist who I personally liked didn’t have. He’s probably not as updated with the technology. I would continue to see her in the future.
