Jeff did a great job doing some initial tree removal and pruning, and then getting my landscaping in on the schedule I requested, during the busy pre-holiday season.  He was always prompt in responding to questions/concerns with good suggestions on planting materials.  The few glitches that occurred during the process, such as some cracked irrigation lines and pavers, etc. were addressed  promptly.

Everything went well. Weather got in the way, caused some delays.

Hauled away all landscape waste.

quick with a crew of 3 people, professional. A pleasure to work him.  I 'll call him in the future.

I'm new to Angie's List, otherwise I would have posted this back in October when I had the service done, because Larsen Tree Service did such a great job and this actually freed me up from clutter so that I could begin considering new alternatives for my landscape.
Jeff and his crew arrived with two trucks and a small tractor.
My front yard had six trees that were more than 20 years old and three smaller ones. Three very tall Washingtonians, three very thick Pindos, and three medium/small trees. One of the pindo's fronds had begun to slowly droop down (signalling the death of the heart or and quot;terminal budand quot; and thus the death of the tree).
Starting at 8:00 AM one October morning, the crew worked methodically but quickly, sawing and pulling the trees down one by one and making sure that they fell in the expected direction and not on something valuable. Then they sectioned the trunks with their chain saws, and used the tractor to put the trunk sections and the huge frond canopies into their landscaping refuse trailers for haul-away.
At one point, their tractor drove over one of my irrigation water pipe valve boxes, breaking it and causing flooding in the front yard. We found the water shutoff at the street, and closed the valve. My house still had water, it was just the irrigation pipe that was damaged. Jeff said he would call a plumber and it would be taken care of. About 2 hours after Larsen had left, I walked outside (just to survey the work), and the plumber was already there, just finishing up the repairs. He turned the water back on and there were no leaks. There were also no financial surprises; the plumber said that he was being paid by Larsen and there was nothing out-of-pocket for me.
Jeff and his crew did a very good job, were careful not to block the street for too long, and they cleaned up afterward. All the refuse was hauled away as part of the service, and I did not have to worry about anything. Mistakes and accidents do happen, and when this occurred with the irrigation line, Jeff just handled it without question or trouble. I admire and appreciate this, and I would definitely call Jeff again for tree trimming or removal work.

They are reasonably priced. They do a good job. He is extremely easy to work with. He tries to accommodate you.

Always very responsive. Easy to work with. Flexible. Honest. Not the cheapest, but reasonably priced.

Owner came on time to provide estimate. Was very knowledgeable as to what was needed and good for the existing trees, i.e. topping not a good thing. Worked with me on pricing. Workers came on time and were polite and patiently answered any questions I had.

Would recommend again. Price is higher than most tree services but good service is worth the price.

They did a good job. Jeff Larsen is very informative and helpful. His prices are better than anyone else I spoke to. His people are professional. They did a great job and did it quickly. I would use them again in the future.
