They had the item for about six months as the repair was very difficult. Since the swan was a keep sake from a tour with the Air Force while stationed in the Azores we were willing to wait the time it took to fix it. If you do not know the swan was broken it looks great, for those of us who know we can see the slight repair marks. As it was very important to us we are happy that it was at least able to be repaired.

Brought in chairs for estimate - did work for what was estimated. Chair frames were all reglued, one chair in particular, whose frame had broken completely apart, was repaired good as new. Seat cushions whose screws were stripped were reattached to the frame. Nice craftsmanship.

(DISCLOSURE: I'm a residential interior decorator and customer). For 18 years, I've bought and had furniture restored, refurbished and repaired at Flo's Attic (AKA Flo's Antique Accents). They have always performed outstanding work, including those times when a repair was particularly challenging. Sometimes, there have been pieces where it's taken longer to repair than expected, but those have been due to my high standards and their cautious approach in making sure things were done well. I'm thrilled with the job they did on both pieces of furniture! The finish on the table had become cloudy, and it was scratched in a number of places. They knew just what to do with it, and it now looks like new! Best of all, they provided free pick up and delivery of the table, something no other place I called would do. And they did it in only a few days. I thought I might have to wait weeks. They touched up the antique desk right in my home, it also looks wonderful. Flo's prices were the same or better than anyone else I called, and they were very pleasant to work with. I would definitely recommend them.

In the future to prevent furniture finish from blooming (cloudy finish) please avoid the use of silicone based furniture polishes as they can cause lasting damages to fine finishes. Always use an ever-so-slightly damp cloth to dust furniture, and a silicone-free polish for cleaning. :)"

THEY WERE RELIABLE. THEY'RE A NAME THAT YOU CAN TRUST, AND WE'VE GONE BACK AGAIN AND AGAIN AND WILL CONTINUE TO. THE PERSON WHO DID THE WORK IS A CRAFTSMAN. HE'S VERY RESPONSIVE TO QUESTIONS ALSO.
