Greg and Steve were absolutely terrific! Greg was out to the house, gave me an estimate, and we scheduled the service. They arrived on time, were truly professional, cleaned up after, and hit the estimate on the nose. I will refer them to anyone in need of audio and video services.

It took a few short visits but, the diagnostics and repair went very quickly. This is a very professional, friendly team with high integrity. They take pride in doing a great job and doing it at a fair price. I would absolutely not hesitate to use them again for small jobs like they just completed, or for a new installation. Simply outstanding. I found them on Angie's List and the reviews that I looked at were completely consistent with my experience.

It went PERFECTLY! Greg and Steve even went back to the store with me when they discovered a small crack in the screen of the first tv. We exchanged it and they came back to the house and performed a flawless installation. They even hid the cable box behind the tv so that it was not visible. I LOVE the work that they did.

Piling on here, but Greg Butcher/Custom Audio & Video deserves the highest marks in ALL categories! Very professional, punctual, knowledgeable and trustworthy. We just bought our house in Winter Park and Greg first met me there to see what the house had as a starting point and understand what we wanted. Rather than steer us into all new, expensive equipment, he determined that we could leverage much of what the house already had; then worked closely with me to determine what new equipment was needed. Shortly after that, he and his team member installed the TVs and audio components we agreed to expertly and efficiently. He even agreed to buy an unused amplifier I had brought from my previous home, reducing my bill by the price we agreed to for the unused component. The family has been enjoying the A/V systems installed ever since, including a Universal Remote Control (URC) device and a Sonos system for Internet radio and Sirius/XM throughout the house (fantastic!). I couldn't be happier about the results. Greg's professional consultative and installation services are top-notch and he gets my highest recommendation.

DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE OF CALLING ANYONE ELSE!!!  Greg and Steve came to our home a week ago and we are still telling everyone about our exceptional experience with this company... an "A" rating really seems inadequate for the outstanding level of service they provided! Extremely knowledgeable and customer focused, they listened carefully to our expectations, offered some excellent suggestions, and then immediately went to work. We were unsure of the quality of some of our equipment, but Greg convinced us that there was no need for us to spend money by replacing what we already had.  Greg was exceptionally patient in answering ALL of the many questions my wife and I had, and he went to great lengths to ensure we were totally comfortable in operating each of the audio functions & features they set up for us... things we didn't even know our system was capable of doing! Greg's attention to detail and customer satisfaction was truly amazing... even providing his personal phone number in the event we had any operational questions after they left.  (He even checked with us after the July 4th wknd to make sure we were functioning well with our new setup) Greg's passion for his work was refreshing and reassuring. The time required to complete the job (mainly due to our questions) was significantly more than they quoted but there was no charge for the additional time. We have become "RAVING FANS" of Custom Audio & Video and can't ever imagine calling anyone else for our audio or video needs!

Everything went perfectly -- outstanding customer service.  Greg's main focus is on being sure that customers are totally satisfied.  The price was very reasonable, especially considering that it was a small job and he had to drive nearly an hour to get to the job.  HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Greg is fantastic. He came to our house to bid the job, and spent some time just talking to us to get to know what we really wanted and needed. He looked for ways to save us money on the items we bought, either from him or from others. We bought the TV ourselves and he supplied the receiver, remote, etc. He quoted us an hourly rate for his time, and estimated 3-6 hours to do the install, but it actually took him 7 hours. He did not charge us for the extra hour. BEST OF ALL, he came back to our house 3 different times, at no extra charge, to troubleshoot minor problems and to retrain us on how to use the remote and our smart phones to do different things with the TV. In fact, he was here today (10/1) to add a feature to our remote that we requested after he had finished the main installation.
   Greg really knows his stuff and is highly professional and very friendly. I strongly recommend him for any audio or video situation you might have.

I recently moved to the area. Previously my prior home was set up by a guy whose history was setting up sound gear for Bose in their stores. He was also a perfectionist and set the bar so high I was not sure I could find anyone to match his work. As it turns out I did not need to worry. Greg gave a very reasonable quote and has an extensive history working for Sound Advice (a solid company who used to be all over Florida). Greg and Jesse exceeded my expectations and treated the install in my home as if they were working in their own homes. They were great with my dog (a good judge of character who heartily approved of them). They were conscientious and left the house as clean after the project as before. The only drawback is if you need to have outlets moved they will need to bring in their electrician which needs to be factored into the quote. I did need outlets moved and their electrician was good and reasonable. Their cost was substantially better than another Angies List competitor who provided a bid (no names mentioned) even with the electrician factored in.
Overall you can't go wrong with this company. They do solid work at a reasonable price. I recommend them without hesitation and would use them again in a heartbeat.

AWESOME!!!! I would never go back to a Big Box retailer again for this service. These guys do an amazing job at a very reasonable price. They will stay until everything is exactly how you want it! PLEASE USE THEM!!!

We wanted to Install TV over fireplace but not sure if it could be done in our 105 year old home with a real old brick fireplace. Greg came out and showed us exactly what we could do and explained the best and least expensive way to do it. He really went out of his way to make us happy. I had called a few other companies and they were more expensive and not even sure they could run wires through our fireplace. Greg is very knowledgeable and personable guy. I would recommend him over and over to get the job done right and to your schedule.

I had an entity reconnect my home theater system and reprogram my universal remote. It was done satisfactorily. A week or so later it was discovered that there was no audio to my TV's Smart Hub. The entity that did the work refused to come back and correct the problem. A second technician service was contacted, but never showed. I now used Angies List and found Custom Audio and Video. Greg Butcher contacted me and the problem was discussed over the telephone. It was determined that a hour to 2 hour house call was needed. The fee would be $100/hr. Custom Audio and Video arrived on time. While Greg reconnected my home theater system his partner reprogrammed my universal remote. Even though the house call lasted nearly 4 hours, I was only charged for the initial quote of 2 hours. Custom Audio and Video stayed until all systems were a go. They said that they would be back if the system failed due to their work. The system has operated properly as they reconnected and reprogrammed the system. They did a great Job.

Greg and Jessie were awesome! I'm so glad we called them to do the job. Totally professional and at the same time personable and fun to work with. Our phone calls were returned promptly and they were here when they said they'd be. We were given advice on what to buy and given different options for the installation. They worked quickly and efficiently (in spite of our 3 dogs constantly under-foot and in their way). They clearly know what they're doing and were neat, very thorough and double checked everything. Jessie patiently taught me how to use the remote and even showed me a cool app for my iPhone. It's so great to deal with people who are good at what they do, into what they do, and take pride in their work.

Flawless . Greg is a very professional and personable guy . He know's a ton about electronics and he steered us in the right direction . Very happy with the whole experience . Would not hesitate to use him again in a second . My whole family is enjoying our mounted TV's very much .

They arrived on time and performed the service as requested. Greg is a professional and knows his business well. He could have easily tried to bump me or upgrade me as much of my equipement is old, but instead he did the opposite. He told me to keep what I had because I had invested in quality, and much of what I had he would have recommended. I wouldn't say he was and quot;cheapand quot;, but I would say he was worth the money and earned what he charged. In addition, he is a very personable and likable guy. A few days after his service I had some issues with the remote and called him (my issues I created, not a problem with the service). He took the time to walk me through it on the phone (10 + min) and then came the next day to reprogram the remote. I would not only recommend him, I wouldn't use anyone else. Great guy and a real pro. Something you don't often get in these types of service providers.

Couldn't be happier. Greg and Jesse are punctual, professional, ethical, knowledgeable, responsive and do work they would do at their homes. The vision and suggestions were so helpful. Before they left Jesse gave us a class on the operation and Greg wouldn't accept final payment until he could replace a malfunctioning DVD player the next day which he did. Talk about going above and beyond, Greg researched a communication function between the new DVD player and my amplifier for several days and called me with the solution. Now that's what I call exceeding expectations.

Very professional. The project required the installing of a 7.1 speaker system thru attic to avoid exposed wiring. Separately, installing of 4 camera outdoor surveillance system connected to all tv's and pc. Hanging of TV, integration of BluRay, VCR, Turntable with a/v receiver. Without complaint, returned for refinements/adjustments.

Greg was on time and reasonably priced. He also took the time to explain how to operate all the different electronic gadgets, which was a major plus!
