ASAP HOME RESPIRATORY

I was prescribed home oxygen and this company, ASAP, is contracted by my insurance company to provide that service, so I was given no choice. My doctor, during an office visit, told me to send the equipment back because it wasn't necessary. ASAP said they wouldn't take the stuff back and that only a doctor could make them. When I told them that was the case, they still refused. They wanted me to do the legwork and they weren't about to communicate directly with any doctors even though this is supposed to be their area of expertise. I told them I didn't want to be responsible for expensive medical equipment while I solved their red tape problem. I got the impression that they wanted me to run up a bill while I figured out how to get both sides to communicate. The man I spoke to, Mark Gloetzner, went as far as refusing to give me the address of ASAP, only saying that they had a place in Kissimmee. I can imagine what some old person who wasn't tech savvy (like my mother) would do.
