It went great until Robert decided it was time to close shop and move on. He disbanded his shop in April 2017 and I for one and sad to see him go.

I have used this repairman several times now. He comes out really soon, often the same day if he has the time. I make gear for service dogs, particularly boots for the hot pavement here in Fl. The dogs can't work without boots, so when my machines break, it can be a problem because then someone's dog can't work--so some disabled person can't leave the house. In the grand scheme this probably isn't a big deal, but to that disabled person it really is, and Bob the Miracle Repair Guy acts like it is as well. He is a solid guy, honest, polite, super professional, and highly experienced at repairing these machines.
He has fixed my Rex commercial machine perfectly every time. It is an old machine and finicky. One one occasion he was so concerned that he fix it exactly right that he took it out of the table (which to me looks like major surgery), took it back to his shop, fixed it, and brought it back the same day! I was very anxious about the bill, but I had to have the machine fixed. Guess what? He didn't charge me any extra to go to all that extra effort! His fees are beyond reasonable. He even found some heavier-duty needles for me so they would be less likely to snap in the heavy leather I use for the soles of the dog boots.
I am a big fan of this repair person. Angie's List was created to help prevent people from getting ripped off by bad service people. Bob the Magic Repair Guy is the kind of person who should be featured on this site. He could easily rip me off, or overcharge, or take a week or two to get out here, because I'm desperate and wouldn't complain, but he provides excellent service, with excellent prices, and does it fast. I highly recommend him for any repairs you may need.
