Ken and a crew of 3 other workers arrived on time at our house and did a quick walk through to review everything and to get the other plumbers caught up on what needed to be done. I liked this as it ensured everyone was on the same page as they discussed how they were going to accomplish this.
The team started around 10 am and finished up around 6 pm. Having such an older home where everything isn't necessarily up to new code, Ken did a fantastic job of bringing everything up to date and explaining why the code was the way it is. Also, another and quot;perkand quot; of having such an older home, certain areas of the house proved to be more difficult than others but this didn't stop the team from getting the job done.
One of the things I liked most about them was their and quot;whatever-it-takesand quot; attitude to get it all done with no complaints (even with 2 very angry chihuahuas barking all day in the other room). I am very happy with their work. Their estimate was very fair and never did I feel like I was being and quot;upsoldand quot; on some additional products. Even when speaking to Tammy on the phone, she was courteous and professional in scheduling everything.
I would definitely use Pro-Tech Plumbing in the future as I feel like I can trust them to do a good job and not cut corners. Highly recommended.

Called a couple of companies on your list. Both wanted well over $100.00 just to step on my property. Called Pro-Tech. Very professional, very nice, and very, very reasonable. Take those high priced guys off your list and move this guy up in the ranking. I'll continue to use Pro-Tech for all my plumbing needs.

Very good, found the leak and resolved the problem. Would definitely used Pro-Tech again.

On 8/14/2013 Pro-Tech, came to fix a leaking valve on the solar panel which they installed in January 2010. The plumber, who is also the owner told me that they no longer made the valve and they would have to retrofit the fitting and install a different type of valve, and that he couldn't insure that the panel wouldn't freeze during the winter. On 12/3/2013 the valve that he installed started to leak,(we live in Florida so no cold weather effected it) so I removed the valve and went to a plumbing supply to find a replacement, the salesman stated that he didn't have that type of valve and didn't understand why he would use a valve like that on a solar panel. He then went in the back and brought out a valve that was supposed to be on a solar panel, which was the same as the original valve that Pro-Tech replaced and stated that they didn't make anymore. The charge $65.00, the time to unscrew and replace the valve 15 minutes.

I feel that he ripped me off, by replacing the valve with one that shouldn't have been used, and charged approx. $280.00 for labor to install it.

We most recently had a flood in both of our bathrooms. We called them out and they were at our home within an hour. They also handled calling and emergency service for us that dried up carpets and helped clean up the mess. They have been professional and courteous. We also used them about 4 1/2 half years ago to reroute our pluming lines to the attic.
