The heater was installed backwards, as in, just about facing the back wall of our garage, so getting the plates off to adjust the temperature up a few degrees will require a mirror AND an offset screwdriver to adjust the top and bottom settings. If we needed to drain the tank for any reason, the drain is also in the back, facing the wall. The water coming out is 100 degrees MAX (yes, my wife measured the temperature from the tub and the bathroom sink) and it's roughly 45 ft from the heater to my bathroom shower. She knows it is factory set at 120 degrees, however, for the distance it must travel, it looses heat. She notified him on Friday (he installed it Thursday 8/25) that it was not hot enough. As of today, (8/29) he still has not been back since Thursday night when he was supposedly told by his boss to get the air out of the lines. She has contacted him every day since Friday (8/26) to see if he'd be out. We have not gotten a satisfactory answer. She has photos of the installation, along with the invoice, and texts back and forth to him on her phone. Also, she was charged for a 2 gallon expansion tank that was not installed but is on the invoice. ($64.99) The sooner this gets resolved, the better. We would not recommend this company (Maya Construction, LLC) or the person who did the work to anyone.
