The service provided to us was outstanding! It took a week longer then expected, but that was due to part of the floor having to be replaced. They even custom made a flooring piece for us. The workers were neat and very detailed. I doubt the floor looked this good when it was new! I would recommend them to anyone!

Mr Volpe came out promptly after our call to give an estimate. He calculated 720 sq ft , 75 % had old carpet covering it. the quote was promptly emailed to us, $1800 to remove carpet, sand and finish the floors. Also he would provide movers to move many pieces of furniture which we could not do ourselves.

The movers were 2 young men, very friendly and hard workers. they did a fantastic job moving our furniture, including several extremely heavy pieces.

The main project was delayed several days, due to a death in the family of a crew member. The main crew of 2 guys was very professional and hardworking, over a span of 7 working days - this included removal of carpet, 3 sandings, a sealer coat, first polyurethane coat, buffing, and final polyurethane coat. The coats of sealer and PU each required overnight drying time, which is why the lengthy time frame (about normal I would guess for this type of job).

These are original red oak floors (about 60 years old) so the part under the carpet looked pretty rough - but the guys did a great job getting it to look close to brand new. We chose the natural (clear) semigloss finish and it came out looking really nice.
To finish the project, the crew installed 6 trim moldings to transition the various doorways, as well as 6 custom quarter round shoe molds that were missing along the baseboards. They also provided us with a cleaning kit.

He did a really good job. He did not take away the history from the floors even though they were refinished. The job was done at the price and time frame quoted. I get lots of compliments on the floor.
