It went well. They did some extensive work to be able to do the work on my roof. I didn't like what they did the first time so they came out and fixed it and were very nice about the issue. One area out of 4 is what i didn't like. It was a more difficult fix in that one area. I was definitely satitsfied the second time around.

It was hard to get a hold of him at first due to a death in the family, but he was very good.

Receptionist informed that one of their contractor's would contact me to arrange for them to come out and do an estimate on doing a roofing job...never heard back from them. Sad case senario!

It was not that great. They gave me a bid that I thought was too much. We discussed it and they lowered it and then they came out and did the service. It included a lot of materials and labor. When they got to the roof to patch it, they only used one item and not a lot of materials. They were on the roof for 26 minutes because my security cameras recorded the whole thing, I wrote them a letter and said I think they should adjust the price down even further and they did. The conversation we had initially was if I like the patch and it held well, then I would have them do the whole roof at a later date. They said that they acknowledge my letter and good luck with my new roof, something to the effect that they went along with what I said but they weren’t going to work with me in the future. It took a while to get it started (maybe Florida and rainy weather plus one of the bosses was out due to injuries when he fell off a roof). They did a great job and were very personable.

Initial response before update:

It went well. Contractor responded in detail to all questions and returned calls expeditiously. They
were courteous and professional.

Important update:

A few weeks after the completion, I hired another contractor to install gutters/down sprouts. He noted that Bennett  installed several grey shingles on a brown shingle roof, also failed to caulk a 3ft. area, and left one grey shingle sticking up in the air. They left two packets of about 60 nails on the roof along with some loose debris. I called to have them come out again and was told they'd be out Monday - never heard from them again.

We are still waiting.

I had several quotes during the same week and this quote was one of the higher ones and they weren't even going to do as much as a company quoted at a lower price.

Excellent job. They showed up when they said and completed the work on
schedule. The clean-up was complete and all I am left with is a beautiful new roof.

Dan Myers from Bennett roofing came to inspect the leak and offer an initial quote for the work.  
He was on-time, friendly, and knew what needed to be done.
The crew that came to do the work did a great job. 
They worked non-stop for 5-7 hours. 
We've had plenty of rain with no more leaks.
I'd definitely recommend these guys if you need a quality roofer.

This was the second time we called  Dan Meyer at Bennett to repair a roof leak on our home caused by some poorly installed original flashing. On both ocassions Dan stopped by within a couple of days to determine the problem and get us on his crew's schedule. We have been very satisfied with the quality of their work replacing the defective original flashing and shingles with new materials which fixed the problem. We also felt the price for the work was fair, no surprises. Bennett appears to be busy most of the time so expect some lead time before they get to the job which you can expect to be done well.

They responded quickly to the request for estimate and started the next week. They were professional, courteous, and worked efficiently for the two days to get the job done. They knew exactly what needed to be done to fix the problem and did not try to sell more of a job that was not needed.

Everything was fine. I would give them A’s across the board. I would use them in the future.

As far as the extent of the damage:  The tree had crushed the roof plywood and split a truss support and dislodged its braces.  I now understand and can attest as to how strong this type roof support can withstand a hit.  My home is covered by oak trees and has escaped three hurricane eyes.  The repair required the shingle removal over a 300 square ft area, the 3/4 in 64 sq ft plywood replacement, the interior truss collared and support braces reattached as the impact radiated to the other support trusses. 

I THINK THEY ARE EXCELLENT PEOPLE. THEY ARE REALLY KIND. I THINK THEY DID A GOOD JOB ON MY HOUSE. ALSO, THEY HAVE DONE WORK ON A LOT OF MY NEIGHBORS' HOMES.
