AFFORDABLE COMPUTER GEEKS

The computer was as good as new all the little nuances that's why the price was high but originally I could have walked out of that store with an $80 price tag which would have been all well and good no problems. But discussing updates and little booby traps for hackers well programs to cost money nothing's free so they can put as much as you like on your computer it actually came to 295. So see these people know their business willing to talk to you and discuss but I suggest to make it a time when they're not busy so you can have the time to talk with them they get very busy. And as I mentioned in another review it's staffing. The owner knows the business of course in between hirings it's tough trying to business and go out and perform service. Myself small business owner the newness wears off on the staff and all of a sudden you have staffing issues. Trying to go into Starbucks or dunkin' donuts to get a cup of coffee and a donut in the attitudes I just off the wall and they're making $15 an hour now a days I can remember when it was far far less 10 years ago. These young kids coming out of school that know whatever business that it is they're doing just basically don't want to work their heart isn't into it and if you got the answer to it please spread it around. There's one new guy at Geeks cuz I'm there right now 5/15/25 so this is pretty updated. I couldn't get him to smile no matter how many jokes I try to crack at him to become sociable across the counter he knew what he was doing boy did he know what he was doing but no people skills that's, that's bad he's the kind of person that needs to stay in the back as we all know impressions are the first thing to represent to a new customer. So when I see the owner today Saturday I will let him know that. Fantastic owner and don't try to skip around the Geeks go on in and see who they have for staff because he doesn't hire anybody or I should say just anybody you've got to have the talent but you also have to have people skills.    Long story short. Took my Dell T3400 in for repair paid $90.00 for repair after they had it for over a month. Still had same problem. Took it back in worked on it for another week or so was told they could not fix it would issue in store credit I agreed being the easy going guy I am. About a year later for Power Mac issue was told Ben no longer worked there he was not a manager and was not authorized to issue credit and there is nothing they could do for me. I thought it quite ironic about the same time they had a newspaper article about how they consider their customers friends. Funny I did not get that feeling. So if they can't  fix your computer pay the $30.00 diagnostic fee and demand the rest back. Lesson learned !
