"Thanks for your review! Your home was so very close to completely sealed before you had your issue. Made it easy to find and address the only remaining issues! I'm always happy when I'm able to present a $600.00 estimate, but actually get the job done for $178.00! Best of luck in the future and thanks again!"

I sent Gregg photos of my atrium which has very high and fairly smooth walls. He came out the next morning with the perfect solution. He tied some slim boards together, got up on the roof and lowered them into the atrium. He then entered the atrium from my kitchen door and the squirrel scooted right up and out. Gregg was very professional and personable. His price was absolutely reasonable. I called two other companies before I called him. I would definitely call Gregg of Wildlife Ranger again.

he is a thorough professional in every sense of the word.
Response from Wildlife Ranger
"Thank you for taking the time to post a review! I appreciate your trust in me. Evicting squirrels by using a 1-way door, rather than trapping them, prevents us from having to make multiple trips to the property to remove captive squirrels and reset traps--so it helps keep the cost down. It's a great method for removing squirrels from the attic, but it's a little tough to overcome the trapping expectations--thanks for trusting in the process. It also prevents us from causing unnecessary stress to the animals by moving them to a new habitat. The repairs to the soffit-to-shingle junction (eave gaps) should last the life of the roof (would last the life the home, but roofers tend to tear out the repairs when they re-roof). Please let me know if you need help with any issues in the future!"

After hearing an animal in the attic one night, we called Greg.  He was prompt in answering and came out the next day.  The tracks appeared to be a raccoon so he set two traps at the entry points.  After no activity, two days later he came and repaired the soffits and inspected the attic; found no critters.  Greg is a true professional and gave a thorough knowledge of our problem and solution.  What a rare find!  A pleasure.
Response from Wildlife Ranger
"Thank you for your review! Dealing with raccoons in the attic can be a little tricky--it's even tougher when they're entering through New-England-Soffit (soffit that is constructed of wood and window-screen). Material that can be easily torn into provides almost unlimited access to the attic. By strengthening the areas of soffit that sit above fences, downspouts and other objects the animals can stand on to make entry to the soffit, we can cut-down on the likelihood of re-entry. Thanks for trusting me to help you with your raccoon problem!"

Gregg inspected the attic and determined no animals were there. He reinspected the work he had done 5 years ago (at which time he had thoroughly and meticulously identified, then sealed, any possible entry points into the attic after removing the animals) and determined at today's visit that the original repairs were still in good shape. His diagnosis today was that the noise was probably due to a large oak branch that's making contact with our roof in the same area the sound was coming from. He was here nearly 45 minutes and would not accept any payment for his time or service- he viewed it as a follow-up to his work 5 years ago. Punctual, professional, competent, honest, awesome service! Not sure it gets any better than that!
Response from Wildlife Ranger
"Thank you for posting a review! I thank you again for trusting me to solve the issue the first time and thanks for trusting me to follow up! It is always interesting to me to visit a property that I may have serviced five or ten years after the service. It is educational to see how the home ages and how the repairs appear over time. The methods and materials used would last a lifetime, but I still find it interesting to see how the home ages around them. Thank you!"

He is really knowledgeable about bats and their colony patterns, as well as how to ID if they're colonizing some portion of your home. We were really impressed with him, and would recommend him to anyone with this problem. Plus, since he was unable to find an infestation, he refused to take payment.
Response from Wildlife Ranger
"Thank you for taking the time to post a review! It was my pleasure to assist. These issues can be very difficult to identify. The animals are so small that the size entry point they can use to get in is minuscule -- 3/8 of an inch by about 1/2 an inch -- not much bigger than a coin-slot! So, it can be difficult to see from the ground and really tough if you haven't had experience looking for them. Thanks for trusting me to take a look!"

Signs had been building for a couple of days and on Thursday, the 13th, we found out for sure that we had been invaded by a raccoon. On the morning of the 14th, after searching Angie's List, I called Wildlife Ranger. Wildlife Ranger's web site gave me the feeling that they were the best suited to deal with this type of animal. Dealing with Gregg Granger proved that feeling to be correct.

Gregg was quick to return my call an offered to come by late in the afternoon. After locating the raccoon's entry point, he installed and baited a wire trap, taking care to protect the house. From watching Gregg in action and talking to him it became clear that that he knew his job very well and was very pleasant to boot. He predicted when the raccoon would enter the trap and when the raccoon cooperated we texted Gregg to that effect. Gregg came by early Saturday morning to collect the raccoon and to install a second trap and quot;just in case.and quot; Gregg had said that he didn't think that there were any other raccoons involved and he was correct. After patching the raccoon's entry hole and screw holes from mounting the trap, the job was done.

Used one way technology to humanely and quickly evict squirrels from my residence roof
Response from Wildlife Ranger
"Thank you for your review! I appreciate your belief in the 1-way process and appreciate your understanding of how it works and why it makes sense! New-England-Style soffit can be problematic with most species, but with a little bit of screening, most homes can be secured at a fairly low cost. Thanks for your help, and thanks for your business!"

They went up into the attic to see if they could find the source of the odor within the wall and remove it from above, but could not find it and had to resort to cutting small holes in the sheetrock to pinpoint the spot. Unfortunately, the animal was in a remote corner and it took several attempts to finally find it and remove it. The Ranger then proceeded to patch the walls as best he could and clean up his mess. He was very pleasant an professional throughout. Even though the entire process took almost three hours, there was no additional charge over the original quote. I would absolutely call them again and recommend them to others.
Response from Wildlife Ranger
"Thanks for your review. Dead animal removal within a home is rarely an easy task. Maybe 1 in 100 times I'll just find the deceased animal within easy reach not too far within the attic or the crawlspace under a home -- the other 99 out of 100 jobs will be just plain challenging. So many factors add to the difficulty level and how detectable the odor may be-- outside temperature, inside temperature, construction, amount of insulation, wall and ceiling material, and on and on. If the animal is in a wall or ceiling void, generally, it only takes a single cut in the drywall. Usually I'm able to cut an opening just large enough to fit my hand so I can gently remove the animal. I generally cut square openings and use the piece I remove to reseal the opening. Replacing that piece and applying a smooth layer of joint compound leaves the customer with a nice repair instead of a gaping hole in the wall. It can be time consuming, but there are few wildlife tasks that provide such an immediate and welcome change to the customer. Thanks!"

Gregg was professional from start to finish. He inspected the soffets and found an opening where animals could enter the attic. He set a trap but whatever was in the attic was most likely out when the trap was set so no wildlife was trapped. I was very pleased with the service and would use Gregg again if the need arises.
Response from Wildlife Ranger
"Thanks you for the review! Most of the time when large animals (raccoons, opossums, even cats) enter the attic, they do so from a single entry point. I will almost always set a trap on the roof at the entry point. We do this for several reasons, but the most important reason is that we want to be sure we're targeting the correct animal. Setting at ground level, we might just end up with an innocent passer-by, but on the roof we know have the culprit. I also secure screening around the trap to ensure that if the animal is inside, his only option is to exit directly into the trap. If he happens to be out, the screening would prevent him from bypassing the trap and going back in the attic. This way, we know that we either have the animal captive, or we know we can secure the entry point without sealing anything inside the attic. Thanks for trusting me to handle your issue!"

Wildlife Ranger was my knight in shining armor when a Cottonmouth snake began terrorizing my family a few weeks ago. Ranger Gregg returned my call before I had the chance to finish leaving a voicemail for him, and he apologized for not being able to take my call as he was loading up another critter when I called. He arrived at my house within the hour, and performed a thorough search. He found a baby snake that wasn't a Cottonmouth but explained what it was and why he was taking it way. Gregg was amazingly patient as I asked a thousand and one questions, and he provided informed responses. While he didn't find the offending Cottonmouth, he explained he would come back if we saw it again. A few days later my son killed two little snakes that looked like Cottonmouths, and I called Gregg back because I was worried that there was a nest somewhere with hundreds of them. Gregg came back and performed another thorough search, found some racers (good snakes!), and he explained where they were and why he was leaving them alone. Although, no Cottonmouth was captured, Wildilfe Ranger's multiple visits gave me and my family great comfort that allowed us to return to our backyard and enjoy all that is great about Florida summers! I'm a fan and a customer for life! I just hope I don't have to call them again ...
Response from Wildlife Ranger
"Thank you. I truly appreciate you trusting our company to handle your snake issue. I appreciate your kindness, your responsiveness to calls and providing feedback, and how generous you were in thinking of the needs of a person whose job requires them to spend the day in a truck racing around solving wildlife issues. If there was a website that contractors could visit to check the reputation of the consumer, you would surely have an A+ rating!"

Greg charges for animals transported. He takes them far out into the country and releases them back into the similar surrondings to where they were caught. He charges a full fee for the 'target' species, in my case armadillo's. The non-target species he charges a reduced rate. Animals released back into the woods behind the house he does not charge for. He always came out very promplty whenever I called to report something in the traps, which I checked first thing every morning. Thus the animals time in the trap was minimized. It appears this second round got rid of the pests causing the damage and, at the moment, another round will not be necessary. I highly recommend Wildlife Ranger for the humane way they handle animals, reasonalbe pricing, and prompt response when I reported animals in the traps. I will not hesitate to call them again if necessary.

They responded immediately and they came out that day. He was punctual, courteous, and professional. He did everything he said he was going to do. He put a temporary structure up so the squirrels could leave but could not get back in. Once we were certain that the attic was free of squirrels, he secured the attic so they could not get back in.

They were excellent. They were very professional, he was in and out quickly, and it was reasonably priced. He came when he said and he came back to double-check. We were very pleased and we would use them again. He did some repairs and put up some screening so that they can't get back in.

We'd been hearing critters in the attic for a while. Gregg Granger inspected our attic for evidence, and found squirrel droppings. Suggested we install heavy wire screening over the ordinary screening/ventilation we had under all our overhangs, because the squirrels had broken through those screens in several places. He said to call him again after the new screening had been done, and then he came out promptly and installed a one-way door so the squirrel or squirrels still inside could get out but not get back in. The one-way door was left in place for several days, to make sure, and then Gregg came back and removed the door and re-closed the new screen in that spot. You can tell he cares about the animals he's removing. He has a very informative website about all the kinds of wildlife that can cause problems in Central Florida -- check it out: www.wildlife-ranger.com.
