This remodel involved blowing out walls,, creating an arch entrance, and moving the kitchen foot print as well as painting, flooring, electrical etc. Kevin our GC was very detailed and communicated well with us throughout the entire process! When a few hiccups happened along the way Kevin was quick to fix and resolve the issue. All the work was done at a very professional level. Go ahead and call South Shore! You won’t be disappointed!

We worked with South Shore Construction out of Winter Garden to complete a tub to shower conversion for our guest bathroom. I highly recommend them for any remodeling work you might be considering. They were very professional at every step and we are extremely happy with the final results.

I was very pleased with the work that was done at my FL house after a plumbing leak with mold occurred. If you are reading this then you are like me in that you check out people, companies and products before you buy anything of importance. Also, let me assure you I have not received or expect anything from this company for this review. About a year ago my wife and I visited good friends in Melbourne Florida. They have a beach front condo and had recently done a rehab of their unit. We fell in love with their kitchen and cabinets. The first four pictures below are of their unit. We loved the perfect white and the door styles. They said they worked on line with USA-DISTRIBUTORS and the cabinet brand is FABUWOOD. The style is NEXUS FROST and that is also the color white; deep and rich white and thick luxurious paint. You can judge the depth and quality of the paint by slowly feeling the surface. Cheap cabinets and paint feel like the cheap wood or compressed sawdust below the surface. With FABUWOOD the paint is thick and luxurious feeling and the wood is quality and sturdy. The USA DISTRIBUTOR person who worked with us is DAN STRAUSS. Phone: 888-316-0805. I can’t say too much about how good he is. We talked on the phone, emailed and he is prompt in his replies and very pleasant. He knows his products and has lots of experience with others doing the same thing via the internet so he helps guide you. I never felt rushed or pressured, and I say that since it took me about seven months to confirm the plan and put in the order. Some of that time my wife and I were on vacation in Highlands N.C.. We just finished our condo rehab and the pictures after the first four are our condo kitchen. The bathroom cabinets match the color and style of the kitchen. The two things we did in the kitchen I would recommend are: 1. Frame the refrigerator and if you have the room put a cabinet about the refrigerator and install pull out drawers there and everywhere in the kitchen; 2. They have a tall pantry option that we chose and put pull out drawers top and bottom. We had a blank wall there and there was adequate space in the back of it for the pantry. I could go on but I value your patience so let me just say that we highly recommend this company, Dan and FABUWOOD cabinets. O’yes, we live in Orlando, Florida and the contractor we used was Kevin Morrison, 407-574-2424, and his company is South Shore Construction. He is very nice, patient, he will do as much or as little as you want. We interviewed and checked out three contractors. One of them put down getting a building permit and that is a sign of someone who cuts corners. Kevin is a honest contractor which means follows the code and law. He is ethical which means he treats you fairly and as he would want to be treated. He is a good guy. You should definitely interview him and let him evaluate your project. One last thing about Kevin. My wife is the type of person who carefully chooses a person to work with and then establishes a detailed plan, and leave it with the person to carry it out. On the other hand, I enjoy getting into the details, coming to the site and inspecting, occasionally changing my mind and asking questions. We had our kitchen renovated and are so happy with it. They designed the kitchen with ideas we would never have dreamed of. The workers arrived on time every day they had work to do. They were so accommodating to us. They were neat, and clean. Before they left for the day they cleaned up. They never left a mess. If there was ever a problem a solution was always given. We would hire them again in an instant. Kevin and Junior make a great team.

Excellent work completed in just two days! Kevin and his team were professional, responsive, respectful, and efficient. Went through HomeAdvisor and was was informed they had matched a pro for my needs. When I reached out to South Shore, they responded "Unfortunately, we are currently not taking on any new projects at this time as we are booked well in the next calendar year. Good luck with your project." I would have expected the decency of a phone call especially since South Shore has no idea how much money I have to spend or friends to refer. HomeAdvisor and Angie's List should not refer to them if they can't accept new business.

It went as well as possible. Kevin is the owner and managed the entire project from start to finish. All subcontractors he brought in were efficient, respectful, and cleaned up after themselves. I had them team up with I-4 Kitchen & Bath to do the cabinets. They worked well together and communicated directly on many occasions. Even though I have the knowledge to manage a project like this with my own contractors for plumbing, electrical, tile/quartz/granite, painting, and framing/drywall, having South Shore handle it all for me ensured it got done faster, better, and definitely with less hassle and aggravation for me. I will use them again

The work was done in the time frame agreed upon and the folks showed up when promised. We are pleased with the remodel and outcome. Kevin was up front with pricing and there were no surprises along the way. All-in-all, we would do this again. By the way, Southshore was not the least expensive of contractors we talked to, but we decided to go with them based on their upfront honesty and follow-thru.

Kevin was great to work with. He provided us with a very detailed quote of what he and his contractors would be doing. He and our cabinet people met with us multiple times prior to construction to make sure we were all on the same page. Kevin was easy to work with throughout the process. He always responds to any questions or concerns quickly. He was accurate with his time frame of 5-6 weeks and the job was completed just as he promised. We spent 34k with South Shore for the construction and actual remodel. Cabinets, countertops and flooring material were a separate cost.

I read the reviews here and thought the company sounded great. I called and spoke directly to the owner Kevin and explained that I was looking to remodel the main house but needed to have have some termite damage addressed under the detached rental. He said he would come out and take a look the following week. I sent out pictures of the damage two days prior. Never heard back but on the day of the appointment, I called 30 minutes prior to ensure we were still meeting. Kevin answered and said they just got in several commercial contracts and would not bid on my repair / remodel. I understand that people / companies get busy and maybe don't want to take on certain work, but very bad customer service just to blow someone off - a call beforehand would have taken care of this. Wish I could write a positive review.
