"Dear [Member Name Removed], We are sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with the work provided, however we don’t agree with your review. 1- We stayed 30 minutes after the time was up in order to clean up and go over everything with you. Even if we were gone within the 3 hours, that’s what you paid for, correct? 2- The pace we work is the regular pace as any other painter would do. This way we can pay attention to details instead of rushing everything and making a mess. We did talk to each other about the job and we discussed what should be done first and etc. 3- We did sand all the areas that was painted and removed the dust. You were there for a little bit and then you left and got back only when we were almost done. We also caulked the gaps and filled the nail holes of the areas that were with a finish coat on it. There were some areas that we were only able to prime, due for lack of time. 4- We didn’t finish all the project you requested because most areas required a lot more prep than just a light sand and paint, and for that reason I called you and explained what should be done and you agreed! 5- We do provide the paint from Sherwin Williams or Benjamin Moore. You wanted to use the one from Home Depot which costs more and the quality isn’t that good. I explained to you over the phone that I could buy that one and you could just reimburse me the difference; however you sent me a text message the day before saying: “I have a new gallon of Behr plus ultra bright white semi gloss new that I need you to use up first. I bought it last year, it’s perfect”. The primer however is not included on the deal. 6- The rate is actually $60.00 an hour for each painter. 7- We used drop cloth to protect the floor, and plastic to cover furniture. 8- The helper has 8 years of experience and he is a very good professional. He sanded and painted the French door and the door frame from the closet in the bedroom, also painted the window in the bathroom door and radiator. 9- We don’t need to take the whole door apart in order to paint it, but if we had to, it would have taken a lot more time to get everything done, and we would not be able to do much during that 3 hour period. I can assure you that the paint you were cleaning off was an old one. The deal includes: $269.00 for six labor-hours of interior trim, door and baseboard painting- included white semi gloss paint Deal also includes minor surface repairs and inexpensive supplies like tape and spackle. As you can see, it doesn’t include radiators, however we did for you free of charge, as a complimentary service. We were very surprised to read your review because you seemed to be satisfied with our job at the time. We are not sure what happened after we left, but we know we did everything as we’ve agreed upon. Sincerely, MVP Painting Inc."
