Description of Work: A diamond had fallen out of my wedding ring, which had been hit and was bent...since the diamond was one of a side-pair, I took a pair of diamond earrings and asked that they use the diamonds from them instead. He did a beautiful job - re-shaped the ring, repaired the prongs, inserted the earring diamonds (which were a different size than the previous diamonds), did it in only three days, and the charge was only $138.00! I would definitely use Plantation Jewelers again.

 + -1 moreThe head jeweler was able to quickly fix one of the prongs and secure the diamond back in the setting in under 45 minutes and just before they closed for the day. It was a more complicated job because the prongs also had diamonds on them. He took the time to show me what he was going to do and then again when finished under a microscope. The service went above and beyond and felt genuine and the execution was flawless. Would highly recommend.
Description of Work: The diamond on my wife's ring completely fell out of the setting so I took it in get fixed.

 + -1 moreI have had several rings repaired and/or resized. I have always been completely satisfied with the results and the price. I've also had other repairs and was given the scrap pieces back, so that I can save for future melt down. Alex has always been fair and honest with his prices, workmanship and opinions whether a piece of jewelry is worth repairing or adding to my scrap stash. He always tells me in advance how long the repairs will take and good faith estimate of charges.
Description of Work: I had a single sapphire & diamond earring that Alex converted to a stunning pendant so that I could wear it on a chain, since I was missing the other earring.
