Floor Coverings International- Winter Garden

PROFESSIONALS to the highest standard. We had new engineered hardwood put in by Floor Covering International (Kent & Penny) after meeting them and seeing the examples at the Orlando Home Show. From the first moment we spoke with them at the show, through the installation and the final walk through everything was handled extremely well. The installer, Wilson, was beyond knowledgeable, courtesy and patient with my husband and me. He answered all our questions, gave great advice on the care of our new floors and was such a gentleman when time to clean up and leave. We recommend Kent and his team to everyone who wants a high quality product installed with the highest quality personnel and complete with a thorough walk-through before finalizing all the paperwork. There are no words to express how pleased and happy we are with them for being on time, quality of service and product and personnel. Thank you both AND WILSON. We are so excited about our new flooring and if we decide to do anymore, we know who to call.

They did a great job. They replaced the flooring throughout the entire house. They helped me pick colors and flooring choices. They were a little pricey but from the service and quality we got, it was worth the price. We would highly recommend them.

Excellent! We obtained quotes from 3 flooring companies (Floor Coverings International being one of them). Floor Coverings International was on the higher end, but we believed they were worth it because their products seem more superior, and their customer service is definitely top-notch. So if you're on the fence because of the price, rest assured that it's worth paying more-- because you GET more! Wilson, our installer, was very professional and did a great job. He is a very "clean" worker, too-- he put away all of his materials and tidied up each day before he left for the day. Overall, we are very happy with our flooring project, and we are very happy we chose Floor Coverings International. We would highly recommend them without any hesitation!

By my own admission, I am rather picky and meticulous, so hiring anyone for a home improvement project is a bit stressful. But, after seven years it was time to get rid of some of the "builder special" carpet and tile in our home and replace it with hardwood. After spending several months (that's right, months) looking at options, reading reviews, and meeting with providers, I finally settled on Floor Coverings International. I couldn't be happier with the decision. Kent was very helpful and patient as my wife and I looked through the many wood options available, providing us sample after sample until we found just the right product. He offered several great ideas and some excellent advice - both in terms of looks and functionality - that really worked out well. His price was very competitive: not the cheapest, but considering the quality of product and workmanship it was by far the best value.
Once we made the decision on what we wanted, the installation process got underway quickly. The first day was dedicated to tearing out the old carpet and tile and preparing the concrete floors. The workers were excellent about containing the mess - tearing up tile is hard, dusty work - and did the job quickly and professionally. The hardwood installer was second-to-none. A true craftsman that took pride in his work. The job wasn't rushed, and attention was paid to the details. Several times during the installation, he would point out something he had done (a tricky cut or difficult transition) and say "see how I did that there...doesn't it look great?" He was right, it did! Just as importantly, it was a pleasure to have him in our home. After just a few days, when the job was done, our kids were actually sad to see him go!
To top it all off, both Kent and the installer independently made it a point to stop by a couple days after the job was completed to check and make sure we didn't have any issues or concerns, and to answer questions. 
It was great to work with a company that takes pride in their work and treats their customers so well. The end product not only meets our expectations, but exceeds them. It is the best looking hardwood floor I've seen in any home. My wife and I have both commented several times that we regret waiting so long to do it! This experience was so positive, we're already thinking about what to do with the floors in other parts of our home. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys to friends and family.

This is one of the quickest and easiest experiences I have had when choosing flooring. Kent  came with a van FULL of samples, he asked us specific questions about our flooring needs, what type of traffic we expected on the flooring (we will be moving heavy lawn and garden equipment around on the floor) etc. He then discussed color options that would match our existing color schemes and came up with a great option. The installers showed up as scheduled, were extremely polite and professional and did an amazing job. We are very proud of the new flooring that was put in and would recommend Floor Coverings International to anyone looking to put flooring in their home or business.
