The Absolute Worst - Steer Clear at All Costs! We wish I could give zero stars or negative stars for this horrific experience with Popcorn Ceiling Removal Jax. Hired them to remove the popcorn ceiling in our home and it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. We have pictures and emails which support this review. Despite promising it would be a one-day job, it took a painful five day nightmare of repairs. All of which resulted in a ceiling that looks appalling. The ceiling looks like a checkerboard. It is uneven riddled with patches and looks nothing like the ?smooth knock-down? finish we were promised. When they finished their 3rd attempt at making the ceiling smooth, we asked what the next steps would be should this not achieve the goal. We were told they would return and sand, mud and repaint ? in other words repeat what they had just done. Would you give them a 4th try? They tore wallpaper in several laces -threaten legal action & a lien on our house if not paid .

They did a fantastic job removing the popcorn ceiling in our vaulted living room and replacing it with tongue and groove.

Service was excellent. Workers showed up on time each day and the ceilings look wonderful. No complaints at all.

I am so impressed with the job. They took care to cover walls, floors, and fixtures before beginning work. The end result was an amazing change. All the old popcorn gone and the new knock down ceiling is so beautiful. I especially appreciated that they put on the knock down coat first, let it dry then applied the ceiling paint. The real test came during cleanup. Because of the care they took before beginning work, clean up was a breeze. They took all the mess with them when they left. I highly recommend them

This company came in and in two days removed the popcorn, added knockdown, painted and cleaned up. You couldn't even tell they were here they cleaned up so nicely. The only issue I had is that they didn't quite prepare us for how to prepare for the project. Small issue. I recommend this company!

This was a large project at over 1800 sqft in a house we live in - furniture all over the place, pictures et al on walls, and pets. They moved what they could to the garage and covered everything else from the ceiling down to the floors. We went with the less expensive knock-down finish and it looks beautiful! They cleaned up and put the furniture back. Our project took about 16 hours over three days and I think we paid a very fair price (actually less than we expected to pay). If you've considered this type of renovation but you heard that popcorn removal was really expensive, ask for a quote.

They did an awesome job on my ceilings!!! And I love my laundry room. They were efficient and Shawn made sure I was happy with everything. Highly recommend to anyone looking to take down popcorn ceiling or for painting!
