I e-mailed the manufacturer and told them what the set was doing. They sent me a diagram of what to take loose to see if there was a loose connection. Yes there was. Plugged the cable back to the part and bingo; I fixed my own set. In other words, George ripped me off for $40.00. When I got the set back home I even had to drive 11 miles back to his shop to pick up my remote that he didn't put back in the ziplock bag with the cord and manual. If you go to his shop, take a good look around. Who could ever work in a filthy mess like that.

He took the TV to his shop repaired it and brought it back. We have used him before and he always does a great job.

Called on Thursday to schedule a Friday service call with a representative. He called back later Thursday to say he was going to be late. I told him the call was for Friday. I called Friday morning to request time change on call, as I knew I couldn't be home by noon. Called three times threw the morning before the representative called back just before noon to agree to change. The television was working when representative arrived, representative adamant about charging full price for trip regardless. Opened up back and looked around cabinet for 15 minutes, found nothing wrong.

This is a company with very poor business ethics. I have been lied and put off for four days in a row. It looks like after comming up with a quick and erroneous diagnostic, they want to keep the money. The technician took 20 minutes to tell me that I needed a different cable box and now they are not responding to my calls.

GEORGE SEEMS TO KNOW WHAT TO DO, DISCONNECTED ALL THE CABLING (ATTACHED TO SURGE SUPPRESSOR AND HOME THEATER SOUND SYSTEM) AND MANEUVERED THE HEAVY CABINET OUT TO HIS TRUCK. HE RECONNECTED EVERYTHING AND CHECKED THE PERFORMANCE AFTER RETURNING THE SET. WORKS FINE NOW. DON'T KNOW IF PRICE FOR WORK IS REASONABLE SINCE DIDN'T CHECK.
