Called for service on a rental property , I normally use another company but decided to give them a chance , receptions was nice and scheduled me an appt , at which time I told her I had a 10 year parts warranty on the unit , she stated the repairman would contact me with a price after he diagnosed the problem , he calls me stating the capacitor was bad and it needed a contactor and had a couple burnt wires totaling almost 700 , parts were over 400 and labor was the rest ,and said he would send me pics which I never received , never mentioned my unit has a warranty , when I advised him of this he seemed rattled and said I needed to take it up with the office , and pressured me into doing the repairs right then using his parts or he was gonna leave , I felt him to be dishonest and felt like I was being scammed , in the past the other AC companies I use came out diagnosed the repair and told me this is whats bad , parts are under warranty , labor is this much and I can fix it now YAY for honesty , I will never use them on my house or 3 rental houses EVER , there is no winner here !!

It was good. They were honest. I recommended them.

Babione's Air Conditioning did a great job at my home.? It was a little expensive but it price was OK.

The older of the two AC units had never been cleaned.  Recently, I had the service man come out.  He was a new service man with Babione's.  He said that the entire fan on the air handler on the older AC unit really needed cleaned.  I told him to go ahead and do it since he advised it needed done. 

The previous two 6 months periods cost $252 for both visits for the cleaning and inspection.  Now, with the most recent service call, they charged me $285 which included a fee of $142 for the cleaning of the AC unit. It was very ironic that my service plan before covered the cleaning, which they never did, then they switched me to a new plan and charged me extra for the cleaning.  The servicemen never once mentioned to me before that the fan needed cleaned.

I called them about the $142 to let them know I was very displeased.  Cindy, the wife of the owner, asked why I was displeased.  I told her that they emphasized cleaning when I was on the previous annual program, yet my unit never got cleaned.  Then, they switch me to a new service plan and charge me extra for the cleaning.  The owner said that even though your unit may be dirty, it could have not been needed at the time of the service. 

I have used them for probably 8 years now and this is the first problem I've had with them.  They would not recognize that what they did was wrong.  The wife was somewhat agreeable to the fact, but the husband refused to reimburse me for the $142.  As a result, I would not recommend them to anyone.    They don't seem to be too price conscious of other companies in today's market.

They showed up in schedule everything was very clean when they were done and the unit is working great.

After a delay caused by a tropical weather system moving through the area, they came out to the house and did the job quickly and professionally. The site was left clean. The installation was meticulous. It is important to me that people I hire do what they say they will do, and do it when they commit to do it. I use Babione's to service my office HVAC, and they are always dependable.

Our old air conditioner just couldn't get the house cool anymore in the heat of the day, and it ran all day long - it had to go. Jeff came out to do a Load Test to see what size unit we would need. We decided to go with the Heat Pump unit. On the day of installation, he (and his helper) were here right on time. They were very professional, courteous, and experienced. They removed the old air handler, lined the box below, replaced the plywood base and installed the new unit. Outside, they removed the old compressor, installed a new cement base and the new compressor (which is soooo much quieter than old one). They put in a digital thermostat that keeps the temperature exactly what we set it - it's wonderful! They did a great job cleaning everything up and took away the old units. We were very impressed with the installation. The office staff was very friendly and knowledgeable - she answered all my questions about the unit we chose, explaining the unit ratings (seer, etc), warranties, and the Energy Efficient Tax Credit that my unit qualified for - even sent me the IRS form we need to use when we do our taxes. We've been using this company for about 5 years now for our yearly a/c maintenance and minor repairs. They have a very quick response time - if not that day, then within 24 hours. We are so happy to have a great operating air conditioner again! And, much more efficient -which should really save on our electric bill. I would highly recommend this company to everyone!

The Tech was terrific, he quickly found the problem and offered to perform yearly maintenance. The cost included the service trip. Considering that we live out in the middle of nowhere, we were both surprised and delighted at the service we received.
