 + -1 moreThe company #CCC1331619 quoted $23,000 on 5/13 2019 for replacement of the roof which was damaged from hurricane Michael. They required and received payment of 11,500 which is a half payment. The company did not install new metal roofing standing seam metal roofing with trim as outlined in their contract.
Description of Work: Contractor provided various conversations about the roof and delay: the contractor provided various times for completion of the roof but other than excuses there was no progress or consideration for the safety of the house with without a metal roof when they removed the damaged metal roof. Further they promised to build up a flat roof using two by sixes to achieve a minimum of one by 12 pitch to mitigate water to properly drain. They were to re-nail the roof deck using eight D nails recover with peel and stick underlayment. They were to install new metal roof system including new metal flashing vents and pipe flashings with roof system. Vent ridge as necessary. In addition they were to haul away debris in magnet roll around the house and driveway. The payment of half of the price is considered excessive and failure to produce the roof amounts to misappropriation of funds.
