Joe Neal was great. He's going to be my new permanent plumber! At first he attempted to just repair the faucet to try and avoid the full replacement to save me money, but it just didn't work. I'm glad he was able to get the work done eventually! I just couldn't be more pleased.

I called on a Friday afternoon and made an appointment for the next day for an estimate to install a shower control valve that I had previously purchased. A to Z's Joey Neal was on time, quoted me a price and gave 15% off for using Angie's List. I asked if he could do it immediately and he said yes! He had all the equipment and tools on his company truck, and it was evident that his 17 years as a plumber really made the project worthwhile and completed with excellent craftsmanship installing new piping and fittings. I highly recommend A to Z Statewide and thank them for having such a great professional like Joey on their staff.

Our septic system was draining very slow and started to back up into the house. A-Z gave us the option to service the drainfield rather than spending over $4k to replace it. Brian was honest in saying that there was no guarantee that would fix the problem, but recommended trying. They were able to use high pressure jets to clear out the lines. In addition, the baffle had to be replaced and there is a possibility that when another company pumped out the tank last year, they missed the fact that it was broken.
Brian and his assistant were punctual on both appointments, friendly, knowledgeable and did not leave us with a mess to clean up.
We have had no further problems with the system since this fix and we would definitely use A to Z for any other plumbing needs.

The company and employees are superb in every way! Brian was here with his helper and immediately diagnosed the problem. My washing machine and kitchen sink share the same plumbing. After 11 years of living here (without a clog) the debris from the washing machine mixed with grease from the sink to create a super clog.
They had to use the pipe on the roof to snake out the clog. They were here for about 3 hours, and the job was difficult, but they were so nice the whole time. The cost was very reasonable for the time and labor spent to solve the problem.
The customer service from the office staff and the plumbers was beyond good. I didn't think this level of excellent customer service even existed anymore!
Anyway, problem solved and I'm very happy. They warranty their work for a year! The longest warranty I ever got from other companies was 30 days, so this company is phenomenal in every way!

What I liked about them is that they gave me an estimate for the total job and parts, instead of what they charge hourly. He was very professional, arrived on time, and everything went great. It was very nice that they had the part on the truck, so they could do the repair right then and there instead of having to run to the store to get parts. Additionally they provided me with a 15% discount which I appreciated.

The problem was quickly found and resolved. A new low flow toilet was installed, there was a model on the truck. The pipes were repaired and there have not been any leaks since.

I was not very happy with them. They made some restitution, but it was an awful experience. I would never go back to use them. The guy that came here said that he had a different truck and that he had all of his stuff in another truck. He had to leave and go get the stuff from this truck. He left and then I left. I was gone two hours. He came in after me and charged for all that time. It was a simple plumbing thing, to unstop one pipe and to fix something in the shower. They first charged me over $300 but they made good with it and I ended up paying them for half. He also spent a lot of time talking about putting in a new bathtub and he charged me for all that time he spent talking about that. He wasn't doing the right thing. I shouldn't have gone through what I went through.

We have used A to Z in the past and been very satisfied! This job was no different, though I wondered why when I called to schedule the service I was told I would have to get an "estimate" first. Perhaps because it had been about 4.5 years since our last call?
So the reason I gave a lower grade to "punctuality" has more to do with our understanding of what the scheduling would be and should not reflect on the quality of the service or the professionalism of the company--it just really wasn't explained to us how the process would work. We were given the impression someone would come out and give us an estimate then re-schedule the actual work. We were pleased when the work COULD be done right away.
We were not having problems with the septic tank; this was just a routine, normal maintenance job.
Steve was our technician and he was very professional. He was fast, too--found our tank and quickly assessed that it was not "backing up"...I guess once they open the tank (ours is an older one) they have you flush the toilets in the house and they listen for it to splash into the tank. A "splash" means the water is filling the tank...a lack of splash, of course, means the water from your toilet is just flowing right into the tank!
He hooked up and quickly got rid of the waste, sprayed down our tank and treated the tank with several small packets of some sort of white bacteria/enzymes that will eat away most of the solids that go into the septic tank. He then gave me a box of 12 monthly treatments.
Steve did an outstanding job--he explained all that was going on and/or what he did. When I was curious as to how he was certain the tank was completely empty, he obliged by demonstrating--he put the big "suck" hose back in so I could hear it was merely now sucking air.
We were thoroughly pleased with Steve's work and A to Z Statewide plumbing.

"Dear Angie's Member, According to your Member Comments, A to Z Statewide Plumbing was Very Professional, but, Cost was High, however, your rating does not reflect this information and leaves me to believe there was a mistake in data entry possibly? Regarding our service, you called in for a leaking valve/hose bibb and was scheduled first appointment next day at 9 am. Work was completed in 1.5 hours, our mobilization fee was waived for completing the work, and the cost after discount was well inline with a valve replacement. You also agreed to have work completed, knowing the price beforehand, as we always give our price before beginning any work. You rated us as an overall of F, Price C, Quality D, Responsiveness F, Punctuality F, and Professionalism F. We have never been accused of having the lowest price in town, however we make this up with our Quality, Professionalism, Responsiveness, and Punctuality which again, we provided you by performing your work in one day/next day service,calling beforehand, and arriving on time. Again, I am basing my assumption of error off of your Member Comments.
