Ken Parent examined the roof and leak area and determined the cause of the leak was a malfunctioning scupper and quoted the price to correct the problem. His men replaced the scupper and the adjoining roofing material and stucco material. The final product is very professionally finished. I am very satisfied and the price was as quoted.Lake W

Overall, the project went great. I met with Joe of State Pride multiple times before signing a contract. Joe was recommended based on neighbors in my community who had similar leaks in their roofs. I called multiple roofers, and had them come to the house, but Joe was the only one with a solid plan to stop the leaks.
The first time I met with Joe, he recommended that I remove an air handler that was on the balcony roof and relocate it elsewhere. After speaking with him I performed the work to remove the air handler. Joe recommended complete re-roof job based on the balconies leaks and the existing material that was incorrect application. Joe also recommended extending the roof system to terminate higher on the sides of the walls so that there would be some overlap between the siding on the walls and the roof deck to prevent water from penetrating. Based on Joe's apparent expertise and knowledge on what needed to be done, I hired him to complete the roof job.

Joe and his crew arrived on-time the day the work began. Joe's crew worked extremely well together and was very professional. I could tell that they were taking the time to do the job right. Joe and his crew found damaged wood underneath a section of the roof deck that needed to be replaced and additional work needed once the existing siding was removed to get the siding up to code (applied sheeting and #30 paper to the sheeting before replacing with hardy plank siding and painting).

During the process, Joe recommended he work additional stucco into where a sliding glass door was replaced (done by a separate contractor). Joe performed the stucco work and made the sliding glass door look original.

Joe and his crew completed the work promptly and with attention to detail. I am very impressed with the work performed.

We were very pleased with the quality of workmanship and the willingness to do the little extras that we were interested in. They weren't the cheapest but the quality was good so it was a good value. They came in the morning before I went to work. Things did come up with weather for picking a day to start the work.
