I have worked with a lot of moving companies through the years, and Smooth Movers was among the best. We moved from West Palm Beach to ***** Gorda, so there was a lot to organize. They were easy to work with, arrived early, worked lime real pros, and did an overall outstanding job. The crew helped reduce the stress that comes with moving and was pleasant to work with. I highly recommend Smooth Movers!

This is the second time I've used Smooth Movers and I was pleased both times. First job was kind of by default since I was having difficulty finding someone to tackle moving a large safe and air compressor. The owner gave us an estimate without hesitation and showed up when promised, the move itself came off without a hitch. Of great concern to us was locating the safe in a fairly small closet because the room and closet have cork flooring which can easily be damaged by careless moving technique, no need to worry, these guys are pros! The second move included some household furniture, some boxed items and another heavy weight challenge, namely a very large tool box full of tools. . Smooth Movers backed their truck up a driveway that looked way too small, then put down plywood to move the box across a gravel driveway to the ramp, with two guys pushing and one pulling it went right up no problem. On the unload side they positioned their truck relative to the driveway slope to minimized the angle and rolled it down carefully, I was very impressed. Furniture including mattress arrived unscratched and clean. I hope this move is the last one I will need to make, but if for some reason that changes I definitely know who to call, Smooth Movers are courteous, professional and reasonably priced, great company!

These are the best movers I have ever had, not that I move that much. Eric Ford is the owner and instilled in me the utmost confidence for my move. He knew how long it would take to both pack and move me, and he was correct. The crew of Barry, Jim and Mikey worked well together and had me packed up and out of my two story townhouse in 2.5 hours and unpacked in my new place in 3 hours! And I have a lot of furniture. They were very respectful of my belongings and everything arrived perfectly. They were so neat too! If I ever move again, I won't hesitate calling Smooth Movers. If you need to move, this is the only call you have to make.

Smooth Movers are the best.  The owner, Eric, was wonderful to deal with.  Very prompt in replying to our questions.  Eric sent two guys that were great.  They wasted no time in loading up the TV cabinet from a third story condominium.  They followed us over to the new address and had the cabinet unloaded and in place effortlessly .  This was a last minute move we had to make and they made the whole process so easy for us.  We only wish we had found them when we originally did our big move.  If we ever need to have anything moved again  we will not hesitate to call Smooth Movers.

Eric and his team are the best! They moved the contents of my house, part to a storage facility and part to my new apartment, in record time. The team was professional, helpful, very careful, and energetic as they had to carry everything to a second story apartment with no elevator! Second time I have used Smooth Movers and will use them again!

I cannot say enough good things about Smooth Movers. I worked with Eric (president/owner) to get the estimate and coordinate the move. He is SUCH a cool guy! He is honest, funny, professional; courteous, and gained my trust immediately.
I was exceptionally nervous about hiring a moving company since Iand quot;d heard horror stories from co-workers about their moving experiences. The movers were actually early, and the 4 guys had the truck packed in no time. They were all extremely courteous and treated my belongings with respect. All of the guys were equally respectful, professional, and fun. I couldn't believe how dedicated they were to ensuring that my items were transported safely and handled with care. I could tell that they truly care about the customer and are dedicated to excellence. They alleviated all of my fears of hiring a moving company! I would never consider another company and I am singing their praises to anyone who will listen. If you are looking for a moving company, look no further - they are phenomenal. Trustworthy, honest, professional, and priced very fairly. I had looked at other moving companies and their quotes were double what I was charged by Smooth Movers. Eric and his guys are angels!

They were phenomenal. They were efficient, professional, willing to go above and beyond, and their price was good. They were excellent. I feel that they could have charged us more, because they gave us an estimate based on pictures of the furniture that I had sent them, and it ended up being a bigger job. They ended up using 2 trucks instead of one, the owner came out, and there was never a mention of charging us a dime more. He said it was his fault because he should have come out, and done a full survey. He was completely honest, he kept to what his quote was, and he was great.

They performed a local move for me within Palm Beach county. They exceeded my expectations with regards to how careful they were with my things and how quickly they worked to get it done in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend them and plan to use them again in the spring. Eric gave me an accurate quote based on a few emails we exchanged.

The two man crew was supposed to meet me at 8 A.M. at my storage unit to load the items in the unit into the moving truck first. Carl and Kendal were already waiting for me at the entrance to the storage facility when I arrived at about 7:55 A.M. on a Sunday morning. They work as a team and never even stop for a break. Once we had the storage unit empty they followed me to my home about a mile away and loaded everything there into the truck very carefully. They were to then leave my house and drive to Tampa and deliver my belongings the following morning at 9 A.M. Once again they were at the new site even before we got there. The home they were moving my belongings into had some challenges but they assured me they could handle the challenges and not to worry...and that is what they did.
These two men (Carl and Kendal), along with the owner Eric Ford definitely made my stressful move a Smooth Move.
Their price was competitive with the other bids I had received, but since I hadn't moved in 20 years I was surprised at the cost..but it was worth every penny I paid to not have to worry about anything.
I would recommend this company without reservation, and if you are lucky enough to have Carl and Kendal as your movers you will have a Smooth Move.

From the first phone call to request a quote, to the final move, Eric and his crew were fantastic. Great price, excellent service, very professional. I will definitely use Smooth Movers for my next move.

Fast, quick and professional response in giving me a written estimate and answering my questions. Three movers showed up and quickly went to work. One of the movers was a little surly and you could tell he was tired and irritated, but the two other movers were great. Everything was moved and placed into the location we asked. They even rearranged a piece of furniture after we changed out mind. The amount we paid was exactly the same quoted us.
Just wish they would make it a standard practice to cover your furniture before they get put on their truck. All the other movers I've used would cover our mattresses and sofas before they go on the truck. But other than that, the serivce and move was great. Would use them again.

Mr. Ford was the ultimate professional from start to finish. His estimate was indeed the final price; the workwas performed with extreme care and a professional demeanor. His packing was efficient and utilized the space inthe POD to its utmost to diminish the risks of damage during transport. Mr. Ford was pleasant, polite and easy to work with.We couldn't have been more satisfied.

My belongings were handled with care. When they started to load the truck I had no doubt I hired the right company for my move.

Hired Smooth Movers for a local move for 2 hour. Paid $150 for 2 men and 2 hours.

great to work with and 'will' hire them again for future needs.

Would recommend this company and especially these 2 men for moving locally.
I have not hired them for longer distances, but imagine their work to be just as terrific!
