hurricane shutters
+ -1 moreAfter signing the contract and being promised an installation date in 3 weeks, I was very frustrated as the months passed and no sign of Rick Lamb. I called everywhere, including the shutter supplier and no one could locate him. I had trouble locating anyone at the office since he changed office managers three times. Finally as a US Air Force airman, I went to my base's attorney's office and they contacted him. Only after being contacted by a lawyer, did Rick Lamb decided to show up and in no time later, I had a crew at my house. In their defense, the crew was top notch and did a superb job, all in one day. Due to this enormous delay, I asked for a discount so the price came down significantly, which reflects on my score. Finally, I don't think he was professional since he never took responsibility for the delays and kept putting the blame on his crew. I would not recommend him.
Description of Work: With the hurricane season, we needed to replace our aluminum storm panels with proper hurricane shutters, the accordion type. Our home has three bedrooms, two baths and seven windows. Both our neighbors had their shutters done with Rick Lamb as well and they recommended him to us. Although he promised only 3 weeks to install, from the time the contract was signed until the install date, it took 6 to 7 months.
