Work was excellent; technicians knew his stuff.

Every repair or corrective action has been excellent. Mike and his technicians know how to diagnose everything! They also provide regular service, though I try to take care of my own pool most of the time. Oh, also a quick shoutout to the office staff, which is friendly and diligent. I particularly like being kept updated as far as repair scheduling and getting ordered parts.

We have used National Pool for the past five years; they've installed a new salt system, re-grouted our pool tiles and fixed the pump.  We've called them about various other concerns throughout the years and they are always helpful. They are knowledgeable, pleasant and always quick to respond.  I wrote an earlier review praising them , but wanted to add another one today because they were, again, helpful with another problem, giving good advice without charging a fee.

Did not use contractor as their prices were extremely high and were recommending equipment that I did not need.  Obviously I had checked out the pool equipment prices prior as my pool pump is an older model that is no longer sold and I wanted to makes sure that the motors were still available.
I have had repairs done to my pool over the past 15 years and was surprised that they were so expensive.  Especially since I felt they were trying to sell me "a bag of goods"....  I don't mind paying for what I am actually getting.
I received 2 quotes; one for the motor only being replaced.  $428.84 although on the phone I was told it would be about $645 with the added labor as this motor is old.  This cost was double what I actually did pay to replace the motor.
The 2nd quote I did not like the "open ended" labor costs, It seemed very vague. It was suggested that I would have cracks in the pool pump housing causing leaks (not true) and I would probable want to replace the entire system for $1085 plus whatever additional labor.  I would like to indicate that I have two prices for around $800 if I replaced the pool pump and pvc pipes, etc.

They were prompt and we told them what we thought was wrong and they confirmed it and did the replacing of the pool pump in the spring of 2011. Then we had called them in 2012 about a malfunctioning cell on or salt system pool and they diagnosed it as bad and repaced it. The cells are not not cheap but are essential to changing the salt added to the pool to produce chlorine.

I beleived that the pool in my yard was losing water. that was not the case. On the phone they gave me a simple test to perform prior to coming to my home. After performing the test it was learned that I am not losing water and what appeared to be a crack in the wall of my pool turned out to be a finishing blemish that can dealt with in time. The gentleman who came to my home treated me in a friendly and honest manner as the situation could have been manipulated into an expensive repair. I also received a follow up card asking for my opinion of the services rendered which was EXCELLENT!

They check my pool and provided me with a ton of information and helpful tips in maintaining my pool.

It went well. Very knowledgeable and answered all questions.

They really did nothing, but give me a quote of approximatly 500.00 to get My pool clear. i hired  someone else for 100.00 and My pool is Now clear

The service person arrived on time, was very courteous and after his inspection he explained in detail was needed to correct the problems that existed.  He also gave me pointers on what I need to do to maintain the pool, so that I would not have the same problem again.  I would definitely refer them to any of my friends needing pool service.  Thanks again.

They did a very good job. The billing was a little delayed, but of course that was no issue for me. I was billed exactly what was quoted - no surprises.

It went very well.  We needed to have this done quickly before leaving on vacation and the company worked us into their schedule; gave us good advice about a new system; the installer came on time, replaced the system and explained it.  A few days later, National Pool called us to see how everything was working.  We really appreciated their prompt professional service.  Plan to use them for other services as well.
