We are a Mobile TV & Appliance repair business, "We bring the shop to you" it's not just a slogan, We actually bring a Mobile Repair Facility to your location, It is a truck outfitted with many common parts and equipment to repair many appliances and televisions. The new Appliances & TV's are quite complicated in their workings that require knowledge and skill! A seasoned tech will arrive "On Time" and diagnose the problem on site. Prices of trip charge and estimate fee vary according to location and type of device. All estimate fee's are applied towards the repair.

Rick was prompt. He was a great guy and tried many things to our TV in order to assess the correct diagnosis. He then lowered the price less than half from what he quoted us for the call and gave us great information to save us additional money. All in all, he wasn't just out to make as much as he could from his customers. He cared about saving us money and was as honest as they come. You don't find many repair men like that any more. I would highly recommend Rick for any appliance or TV repair. You won't be sorry.

It went very well. Our 80" TV went out within one year of purchase. Rick came to the house, ran his diagnostic process, ordered the necessary parts. Once the parts were received, Rick scheduled a return visit to our home and performed the repair on site.

charged me $120 for 15 mins of his time. Would never refer this guy, sometimes you have to have a little common sense. He did tell me it would be $80 to come out, but what is up with $120. Very disappointed but no problem lesson learned. Angies list failed me this time for sure....

"It's really sad to get a bad review from a good call. I was called less than hour before I actually made it on site, I asked the customer for a lot of information, I walked him though many steps, I spent a good ten minutes on the phone trying to solve this guys problem so he would not have to pay me a dime! I also asked him if he had a cable box which he replied "no, I have direct TV and I have already reset it" I asked him very specifically to press the menu button for the TV, He said it did not work, I asked him if he was sure! "YES" he said, Nothing! Well that would mean that the TV was not working "as he said originally". I told him that I charge 80.00 trip charge "local charge" and 40.00 estimate fee to which he agreed. So when I made it on site I see he has a Direct TV on the screen "Which he did not say he had before"... I went over to the TV and pressed the "Menu" on the TV as I asked him to do, the menu popped up! I looked at him, and he says "OH I didn't know what you meant by TV menu"... If he would have told me on the phone that the menu was working I would have gone through more steps to have him try to get the TV working. I did ask him about his Direct TV that he told me he reset it, When I unplugged the Direct TV, it booted and everything came up working, He also said the TV in the other room was not working to which I immediately went and unplugged it and reset it. So, I told this guy that it would be a min of 120.00 to come look at his set and give him a diagnostic "Make no mistake I tell ALL my customers how much it will be before I get there". If you don't believe that call me and see. So now 2 of his TV's are working that were not before I got there, He said he was mad because he knew to reboot his Direct TV Boxes, he just didn't think about it. So I get an overall "F" for making 2 TV's operational in less than an hour from his original phone call and it cost him the minimum that I charge for a service call. WOW! Angie's List gave you the Best Guy for the job, I know this because your issue was resolved in less than an hour and cost the minimum amount that you agreed on."

I was very impressed with Rick. He responded quickly to my message on Angies List. He spoke to me for at least 30 min trying various solutions first (for free!). Only then did he say he needed to replace the main board which he ordered and put in today. He says up front, that he is a "no BS guy" and he is absolutely correct. I have rarely encountered somebody willing to give free advice first and he looks like a gentle giant when he comes to the house. He is very knowledgeable about all types of TVs so don't hesitate to call him.

My dishwasher stopped working.  Self-diagnosis said drainage problem.  Water stayed at the bottom and making a strange noise at the beginning of the cycle (draining).  He came on the day I called which is unusual.  Checked the machine and disposal.  Water drained during the process but the noise during the draining was still there.  Diagnosed as a possible bad motor.  Found the part and almost ordered it in my kitchen but he didn't. Next day he called me and said that he talked to other servicemen and most of them said motors hardly go bad.  Most likely it's a clogged pipe.  Mine is 3 years old.  So he wanted to come back and check again BEFORE HE ORDERS the part.  He came and checked section by section this time from disposal to the dishwasher.  Nothing found and water drained.  I could run a full cycle after he left and the problem is gone.  He took a thorough process to find the problem and it was educational to watch.  I admired that he did not settle with an easy solution=order parts and replace but investigate further then re-examine the situation.  I like his style of work (work ethic) which is...he must 'understand' to fix it.  Although nothing gross or bad was stuck in the pipe but now it's clear all the way and I don't have to do dishes.  Yay!!  Thank you Rick.  Best part was...it turned out to be a fun experience than a dismal and nervous one.  I will definitely call him back and/or recommend him.

"Hmmm, Not sure why I received a "C" for price, that was the minimum charge which was told to the customer before I went on the call,... If I did not fix the TV that's how much they would have paid ... The problem was solved rather quickly and no parts were needed. Super nice people, we must have chatted for 30 min, I gave them free advise on their dishwasher and fridg. It was very nice to meet them."

Rick quickly returned my phone call on a Saturday and we scheduled appt. on Monday. He showed up promptly in time frame he said he would be here. When he diagnosed problem, I told him of report I read on issue. He listened to what I said, humored me and reviewed report and repaired TV all on premises. Charged only for service call and did not try to over sell me on services I did not need. Super nice, honest family guy, great manners, great since of humor and actually listened to what I had to say. Will not only use his services again in future, but will recommend to friends and family.

My 60and quot; LS Plasma TV has worked fine for two years. One day, it would not turn on. I called Rick. He diagnosed the issue correctly over the phone without a visit. The main board had failed. He explained the repair cost. He ordered the part, and he came to my house with the part within a week. He fixed the TV in less than an hour, and it was good as new.
Unfortunately 29 days later, the TV stopped turning on again. The replaced part failed. Rick replaced the main board again for no charge.
Rick was very professional and knowledgeable over the phone and in person. When the first part failed, he honored his guarantee without hesitation. I recommend his service to anyone that has a broken TV.

Our TV would not turn on. Called Rick's telephone at Mobile TV Repair (AKA: The VCR Repair Shop, Inc) intending to leave a message on his voice mail since this was Sat. afternoon. Rick picked up the call, asked me what the problem was and where I lived, explained his charges, then after I agreed to them, said he would be here in two hours. He was here in two hours and fixed our TV in less than an hour; his diagnosis over the phone was spot on. And, since he had worked on another problem and section of the same set's power supply a year earlier, gave me an $80 break on the charge, even though it was an entirely different issue this time around.
Rick was prompt, clear in his explanation, and great with the repair. And, he's very personable and friendly. I highly recommend this company.

It was great! I spoke to Repair man Rick Moneck who asked me for the model number and quot;which I thought was unusualand quot; but I found it and gave it to him and quot;he did tell me where to find itand quot;, I described the problem I was having, he came the same day with the parts and repaired it right then, I now know why he needed the model number and quot;so he could bring the exact partsand quot;. I found him on a recommendation from a neighbor, I am very glad I did!

He was extremely helpful over the phone and solved my problem without making a service call. Most vendors would have scheduled a call and collected their fee even if they knew it was not necessary. You don't encounter this kind of honesty often. I will certainly use Mobile TV repair in the future if necessary.

Are you kidding me? Rick is unreal - in a very good way! I would use him again in a heartbeat. My TV went out last night. This morning, I called Mobile TV Repair (due to Angie's List) and my jaw dropped when he told me he would be at my house within a half hour. He told me that if it was the lamp, it would cost me $300. He came right on time, and not only replaced the bulb (which he determined was the problem), but even cleaned the dust from behind the TV, and even played with my dogs. And the cost? $300 on the button. What a gentleman and a wonderful businessman. To me, he gets an A++++ rating on every aspect of service. If you don't call this company to fix your TV, you're missing out. Here it is, during holiday time and I got my TV fixed right away! Believe it. Thanks you, Angie's List and a Special Thanks to Rick.

Rick's initial visit was to troubleshoot damage to a TV due to lightning. In order to make the repairs he had to order parts (the TV is a 7 year old 55and quot; plasma) and had to take the TV with him for repair. Repairs were completed in a timely manner and he returned and re-installed the TV.
Rick was very up front with the cost estimates including the cost for the initial vist and the cost for the repair. The final cost was exactly the same as he provided on the written estimate.
He was very accomodating on scheduling the service visits, working around my work schedule.
I would highly recommend Rick to anyone needing TV repair services.
I found Rick to be one of the nicest and most honest people I have ever had do work for me. Most importantly our dog loved him.

While vacuuming, my housekeeper tripped up the wires connecting my television to the power strip. She said she plugged them back yet when I came home from work that evening I had no TV! I checked the jumble of cords and they all seemed to be plugged in so I figured the power surge from the vacuum cleaner had killed the power supply to the TV . When I called mobile TV and told him I thought that I needed a new power supply to my new LG TV, he attempted to dissuade me from using his service because my new TV should still be under warranty and gave me all the exact instructions on how to contact them and get the service I needed. But since I also had a lifetime TiVo in need of a new power supply, which I had purchased on eBay and figured I couldn't install myself, I asked if he would come and do that and just look at the TV to see if he could fix it easily. If he could, then great, I'd be saved the hassle. We scheduled the service for the next day and he arrived right on time. He worked nonstop and very efficiently. We discovered that the television was still unplugged but the plug had receded back behind the armoire. I had a TiVo, a DirecTV cable box and a DVD player hooked up to that TV. The DVD player did not work because it was hooked up incorrectly. I had also just received a Sony smart box as a gift and needed to hook that up into all that electronic mess. He reconfigured all the connections so that each device would work properly and went through the installation process of the Sony smart box to get that working and showed me how to operate it. He also fixed my lifetime TiVo in the other room by installing the new power supply and hooked that back up to that TV and DirecTV box. I am thrilled! My alternative was to load that stuff up into the car take it somewhere and then return it back to my house and hook it all up myself which I am quite incapable of doing. What a wonderful alternative to have a true TV service man be able to come to your home at your convenience and do it all! Price is well worth it - $80 to come out and $20 for each 15 minutes thereafter. A fair price in my book. Don't hesitate to use this guy he is a true gem.
