I was completely satisfied with the price, final product, communication, promptness, and workmanship. This co. was lowest of 3 bids but I would consider using them again even if they're not the lowest because of the time saved and low stress involved. They showed up every day or called to tell me why there was delay. The workers were courteous and flexible to make small changes to meet my needs. They worked quickly to meet their timelines. They were open minded about meeting my needs. Overall they are the best company I have worked with on the Treasure Coast.
Description of Work: Complete kitchen and bath gut and remodel. Flooring and guest bath update.

Not good, really unprofessional, extremely rude, very lazy. I guess your people are making to much money!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Description of Work: I had 4 projects to be quoted. I explained all of them and told him to quote the first 2 because I wanted them Done before the holidays. That was on 8/3/16 and I haven't heard from him since. I gave him my e-mail & phone number. Plus he was to my home so there is no excuse that he couldn't get in touch with me. Your people are at best unprofessional & rude.

[Member Name Removed], I would first like to apologize for apparently not communicating with you. Typically estimates like yours take seven to ten days. We have just relocated our office and we are still getting situated. On the day you sent this message it had been seven working days. We try to find the best prices for our clients and we are at the mercy of our suppliers. We can take a guess from past projects that are similar, however that would most likely result in over inflated pricing. We would rather be accurate and provide you the best pricing. I also spoke with you on Monday and advised I would get you the most important part you were concerned about. I did do this. We are waiting to see if you want to move forward with this work or not.

They've done a lot of work for me. They did a bathroom 2 years ago and they added on a front porch about a year and a half ago and other work. It has been perfect. They did a lot of crown moulding. They took the popcorn ceilings down. All the work has been perfect.

Things went OK at first, but Tim Mehaffey developed an attitude when corrected about proper installation of a retaining wall . Cost over runs, shoddy work, unpaid subcontractors who put liens on my property, and finally he abandoned the job with open permits. I had to hire a lawyer to get the lien and permit issues resolved, and by then the housing bubble had burst.Mehaffey cost me another 2-300k by making it impossible to sell my home when the market was good. Now today I learned that he poured my driveway over my drain field costing me another 1k in concrete work to repair my septic. Stay away from this contractor and save yourself a lot of trouble .

Mehaffey Construction Group Inc did not do any work for this individual. However one of the Owners was involved in a prior company on this project. The owner refused to pay for work completed by Mehaffey Construction Inc, that in turn caused for attorneys to get involved. In the end a settlement was agreed to and Mehaffey Construction Inc. completed the work as agreed to and was paid as agreed to. The county Building Department was involved and confirmed the work was completed to a satisfactory level. The owner basically changed there posture and become very difficult to deal with after Mehaffey Construction Inc. hired and African American plumber. Also the contact was around $50,000.00 and the correction that were completed according to the settlement was around $3,700.00 This was and unfortunate circumstance that was the result of a client not happy with plumber hired that resulted in and tense environment. In the end Mehaffey Construction Inc. Completed all the work as agreed to. This statement is simple to clarify that Mehafey Construction Group Inc. did not work for this customer with a statement from one of the previous owners of Mehaffey Construction Inc. to clarify actual facts. Back up is available to support the facts stated in this response if requested. Some times you just have two individuals that just can't get along for what ever reason, this appears to be one of those cases. Mehaffey Construction Gro several million dollars worth of work for the local municipalitup has several satisfied customers, and in fact has completedies with out any issues. In turn Mehaffey Construction Group Inc. has had zero complaints against our license. Queue Status:

Quote and bid process was very professional. Work started on time. All work was sub contracted. Siding subs did great work. Then came the paint subs. They did adequate work, however it was done without regard to the surrounding property and needless damage was done to the grounds and landscaping from careless positioning of lifts and ladders. Our concerns to the company owner were met with hostile replies and threats of stopping work and abandoning the job.
Description of Work: Building resided with Hardy Board and painted.
